The Essential Rules Of Tyranny

By Brandon Smith

As we look back on the horrors of the dictatorships and autocracies of the past, one particular question consistently arises; how was it possible for the common men of these eras to NOT notice what was happening around them? How could they have stood as statues unaware or uncaring as their cultures were overrun by fascism, communism, collectivism, and elitism? Of course, we have the advantage of hindsight, and are able to research and examine the misdeeds of the past at our leisure. Unfortunately, such hindsight does not necessarily shield us from the long cast shadow of tyranny in our own day. For that, the increasingly uncommon gift of foresight is required…

At bottom, the success of despotic governments and Big Brother societies hinges upon a certain number of political, financial, and cultural developments. The first of which is an unwillingness in the general populace to secure and defend their own freedoms, making them completely reliant on corrupt establishment leadership. For totalitarianism to take hold, the masses must not only neglect the plight of their country, and the plight of others, but also be completely uninformed of the inherent indirect threats to their personal safety. They must abandon all responsibility for their destinies, and lose all respect for their own humanity. They must, indeed, become domesticated and mindless herd animals without regard for anything except their fleeting momentary desires for entertainment and short term survival. For a lumbering bloodthirsty behemoth to actually sneak up on you, you have to be pretty damnably oblivious.

The prevalence of apathy and ignorance sets the stage for the slow and highly deliberate process of centralization. Once dishonest governments accomplish an atmosphere of inaction and condition a sense of frailty within the citizenry, the sky is truly the limit. However, a murderous power-monger’s day is never quite done. In my recent article ‘The Essential Rules of Liberty’ we explored the fundamentally unassailable actions and mental preparations required to ensure the continuance of a free society. In this article, let’s examine the frequently wielded tools of tyrants in their invariably insane quests for total control…

Rule #1: Keep Them Afraid

People who are easily frightened are easily dominated. This is not just a law of political will, but a law of nature. Many wrongly assume that a tyrant’s power comes purely from the application of force. In fact, despotic regimes that rely solely on extreme violence are often very unsuccessful, and easily overthrown. Brute strength is calculable. It can be analyzed, and thus, eventually confronted and defeated. Thriving tyrants instead utilize not just harm, but the imminent THREAT of harm. They instill apprehension in the public; a fear of the unknown, or a fear of the possible consequences for standing against the state. They let our imaginations run wild until we see death around every corner, whether it’s actually there or not. When the masses are so blinded by the fear of reprisal that they forget their fear of slavery, and take no action whatsoever to undo it, then they have been sufficiently culled.

In other cases, our fear is evoked and directed towards engineered enemies. Another race, another religion, another political ideology, a “hidden” and ominous villain created out of thin air. Autocrats assert that we “need them” in order to remain safe and secure from these illusory monsters bent on our destruction. As always, this development is followed by the claim that all steps taken, even those that dissolve our freedoms, are “for the greater good”. Frightened people tend to shirk their sense of independence and run towards the comfort of the collective, even if that collective is built on immoral and unconscionable foundations. Once a society takes on a hive-mind mentality almost any evil can be rationalized, and any injustice against the individual is simply overlooked for the sake of the group.

Rule #2: Keep Them Isolated

In the past, elitist governments would often legislate and enforce severe penalties for public gatherings, because defusing the ability of the citizenry to organize or to communicate was paramount to control. In our technological era, such isolation is still used, but in far more advanced forms. The bread and circus lifestyle of the average westerner alone is enough to distract us from connecting with each other in any meaningful fashion, but people still sometimes find ways to seek out organized forms of activism.

Through co-option, modern day tyrant’s can direct and manipulate opposition movements. By creating and administrating groups which oppose each other, elites can then micromanage all aspects of a nation on the verge of revolution. These “false paradigms” give us the illusion of proactive organization, and the false hope of changing the system, while at the same time preventing us from seeking understanding in one another. All our energies are then muted and dispersed into meaningless battles over “left and right”, or “Democrat versus Republican”, for example. Only movements that cast aside such empty labels and concern themselves with the ultimate truth of their country, regardless of what that truth might reveal, are able to enact real solutions to the disasters wrought by tyranny.

In more advanced forms of despotism, even fake organizations are disbanded. Curfews are enforced. Normal communications are diminished or monitored. Compulsory paperwork is required. Checkpoints are instituted. Free speech is punished. Existing groups are influenced to distrust each other or to disintegrate entirely out of dread of being discovered. All of these measures are taken by tyrants primarily to prevent ANY citizens from gathering and finding mutual support. People who work together and organize of their own volition are unpredictable, and therefore, a potential risk to the state.

Rule #3: Keep Them Desperate

You’ll find in nearly every instance of cultural descent into autocracy, the offending government gained favor after the onset of economic collapse. Make the necessities of root survival an uncertainty, and people without knowledge of self sustainability and without solid core principles will gladly hand over their freedom, even for mere scraps from the tables of the same men who unleashed famine upon them. Financial calamities are not dangerous because of the poverty they leave in their wake; they are dangerous because of the doors to malevolence that they leave open.

Destitution leads not just to hunger, but also to crime (private and government). Crime leads to anger, hatred, and fear. Fear leads to desperation. Desperation leads to the acceptance of anything resembling a solution, even despotism.

Autocracies pretend to cut through the dilemmas of economic dysfunction (usually while demanding liberties be relinquished), however, behind the scenes they actually seek to maintain a proscribed level of indigence and deprivation. The constant peril of homelessness and starvation keeps the masses thoroughly distracted from such things as protest or dissent, while simultaneously chaining them to the idea that their only chance is to cling to the very government out to end them.

Rule #4: Send Out The Jackboots

This is the main symptom often associated with totalitarianism. So much so that our preconceived notions of what a fascist government looks like prevent us from seeing other forms of tyranny right under our noses. Some Americans believe that if the jackbooted thugs are not knocking on every door, then we MUST still live in a free country. Obviously, this is a rather naïve position. Admittedly, though, goon squads and secret police do eventually become prominent in every failed nation, usually while the public is mesmerized by visions of war, depression, hyperinflation, terrorism, etc.

When law enforcement officials are no longer servants of the people, but agents of a government concerned only with its own supremacy, serious crises emerge. Checks and balances are removed. The guidelines that once reigned in police disappear, and suddenly, a philosophy of superiority emerges; an arrogant exclusivity that breeds separation between law enforcement and the rest of the public. Finally, police no longer see themselves as protectors of citizens, but prison guards out to keep us subdued and docile.

As tyranny grows, this behavior is encouraged. Good men are filtered out of the system, and small (minded and hearted) men are promoted.

At its pinnacle, a police state will hide the identities of most of its agents and officers, behind masks or behind red tape, because their crimes in the name of the state become so numerous and so sadistic that personal vengeance on the part of their victims will become a daily concern.

Rule #5: Blame Everything On The Truth Seekers

Tyrants are generally men who have squelched their own consciences. They have no reservations in using any means at their disposal to wipe out opposition. But, in the early stages of their ascent to power, they must give the populace a reason for their ruthlessness, or risk being exposed, and instigating even more dissent. The propaganda machine thus goes into overdrive, and any person or group that dares to question the authority or the validity of the state is demonized in the minds of the masses.

All disasters, all violent crimes, all the ills of the world, are hoisted upon the shoulders of activist groups and political rivals. They are falsely associated with fringe elements already disliked by society (racists, terrorists, etc). A bogus consensus is created through puppet media in an attempt to make the public believe that “everyone else” must have the same exact views, and those who express contrary positions must be “crazy”, or “extremist”. Events are even engineered by the corrupt system and pinned on those demanding transparency and liberty. The goal is to drive anti-totalitarian organizations into self censorship. That is to say, instead of silencing them directly, the state causes activists to silence themselves.

Tyrannical power structures cannot function without scapegoats. There must always be an elusive boogie man under the bed of every citizen, otherwise, those citizens may turn their attention, and their anger, towards the real culprit behind their troubles. By scapegoating stewards of the truth, such governments are able to kill two birds with one stone.

Rule #6: Encourage Citizen Spies

Ultimately, the life of a totalitarian government is not prolonged by the government itself, but by the very people it subjugates. Citizen spies are the glue of any police state, and our propensity for sticking our noses into other peoples business is highly valued by Big Brother bureaucracies around the globe.

There are a number of reasons why people participate in this repulsive activity. Some are addicted to the feeling of being a part of the collective, and “service” to this collective, sadly, is the only way they are able to give their pathetic lives meaning. Some are vindictive, cold, and soulless, and actually get enjoyment from ruining others. And still, like elites, some long for power, even petty power, and are willing to do anything to fulfill their vile need to dictate the destinies of perfect strangers.

Citizen spying is almost always branded as a civic duty; an act of heroism and bravery. Citizen spies are offered accolades and awards, and showered with praise from the upper echelons of their communities. People who lean towards citizen spying are often outwardly and inwardly unimpressive; physically and mentally inept. For the average moral and emotional weakling with persistent feelings of inadequacy, the allure of finally being given fifteen minutes of fame and a hero’s status (even if that status is based on a lie) is simply too much to resist. They begin to see “extremists” and “terrorists” everywhere. Soon, people afraid of open ears everywhere start to watch what they say at the supermarket, in their own backyards, or even to family members. Free speech is effectively neutralized.

Rule #7: Make Them Accept The Unacceptable

In the end, it is not enough for a government fueled by the putrid sludge of iniquity to lord over us. At some point, it must also influence us to forsake our most valued principles. Tyrannies are less concerned with dominating how we live, so much as dominating how we think. If they can mold our very morality, they can exist unopposed indefinitely. Of course, the elements of conscience are inborn, and not subject to environmental duress as long as a man is self aware. However, conscience can be manipulated if a person has no sense of identity, and has never put in the effort to explore his own strengths and failings. There are many people like this in America today.

Lies become “necessary” in protecting the safety of the state. War becomes a tool for “peace”. Torture becomes an ugly but “useful” method for gleaning important information. Police brutality is sold as a “natural reaction” to increased crime. Rendition becomes normal, but only for those labeled as “terrorists”. Assassination is justified as a means for “saving lives”. Genocide is done discretely, but most everyone knows it is taking place. They simply don’t discuss it.

All tyrannical systems depend on the apathy and moral relativism of the inhabitants within their borders. Without the cooperation of the public, these systems cannot function. The real question is, how many of the above steps will be taken before we finally refuse to conform? At what point will each man and woman decide to break free from the dark path blazed before us and take measures to ensure their independence? Who will have the courage to develop their own communities, their own alternative economies, their own organizations for mutual defense outside of establishment constructs, and who will break under the pressure to bow like cowards? How many will hold the line, and how many will flee?

For every American, for every human being across the planet who chooses to stand immovable in the face of the very worst in mankind, we come that much closer to breathing life once again into the very best in us all.

Holding onto your Sanity in a Time of Universal Insanity

Sovereign Independent
By Neil Foster

If the truth is stranger than fiction then the real world will drive you insane.

Normally most people will face no more than 2 or 3 problems at a time at any given moment in their lives. These may be multi-faceted and complicated or simply everyday issues which some people will worry about more than others but generally will work out or most likely muddle their way through.

The more serious problems relating to health, financial difficulties or break-up of the family obviously take more out of people than a brief period of relationship or financial insecurities or a brief spell of recoverable ill health.
These 3 issues would fall into the category of ‘Health, Wealth & Happiness’ I suppose and much of our other problems would most likely stem from these 3 issues.

However, in today’s world we are fed a diet of so called ‘news’ whose sole purpose is to spread fear and anxiety throughout society to keep us all in check and under control of our (un)respective governments.

They couldn’t care less how many problems they inflict on us on a daily basis as this maintains the control infrastructure of the establishment which is handed on to each new government as it is formed. The system never changes; hence nothing ever really changes for the better.

We may be given brief periods of believing that things are improving when the establishment has use for us, such as the building up of infrastructure etc. Such infrastructure is of course only built up, usually if not always, by the taxpayer, who is then robbed of this asset to the country as it is sold off to private concerns all prearranged before a foundation or steel girder was formed.

This occurs in times of economic decline the type of which has never been so dire as the period of ‘austerity we now face across the so called ‘developed’ or ‘civilised’ world under the guise of ‘bailing out’ the banks to the extent where we’re now told we as a society now own them, yet the law allows these same banks to repossess our homes!
This is by design.

It is designed to outrage you and put you in a permanent state of anxiety as things worsen economically and the fear seeps in under the skin that you could be next on the unemployment scrapheap with the threat of homelessness never far away either.

At the same time we’re terrified by stories of ‘terrorists’ everywhere, well only in the case of Muslims. If you’re white and Norwegian, you’re only an ‘extremist’ regardless of the terror inflicted.

We’re told we must go kill those bad ‘terrorist’ over there so I wonder if we’ll be sent off to Norway to kill those ‘extremists’ over there? Somehow I doubt it.
These wars are of course very lucrative to the chosen few and the international bankers. This is the way it’s always been so we shouldn’t be surprised when the next ground war kicks off in Libya and spreads to Syria and ultimately, the gem of Iran.

We will be left here in desperate poverty whilst billions if not trillions are spent on murder and mutilation of innocent men, women and children takes place in our name under the farce of the ‘War on Terror’. Well, not in my name!
We’re given new plagues on a regular basis which seem to appear from nowhere until you barely scratch the surface, if you care to that is, to find that they usually appear from military facilities and cannot happen in nature through any mutational process.

The threat of global warming with catastrophic consequences for humanity is constantly propagandised in the mainstream media despite overwhelming evidence of the biggest pseudo-scientific fraud ever perpetrated on man is exposed time and again whilst our parasitical and psychopathic politicians fleece us and impoverish the country even further building useless wind-farms which not only don’t work but also ravish the countryside.

This is of course being used as the excuse for the fear-mongering around the ‘too many people’ lie and ‘not enough food’ when the West has been paying farmers to grow NOTHING for nearly 50 years. The eco-fascist community is also responsible for throwing farmers off their own land under the delusion that they are preserving the planet for future generations without understanding that it won’t be for their generations as they’ll be wiped out with the rest of us.

The list goes on but all these factors cannot be looked at and feared in isolation. They are all part of the same big plan for the future under Agenda 21.
So how do we manage to remain sane as our society and our personal lives seem to be disintegrating around us?

We can’t do it on our own. Yes we do all have our personal problems and demons to deal with but to allow the issues above to interfere with those is only adding to the anxiety.

We can all do something about our personal problems as individuals but the issues laid out above require that we all get together to take action to stop these atrocities being carried out across the world; not only at the expense of our health, wealth and happiness, but of our very ability to maintain our sanity in the face of such overwhelming adversity and abuse being forced upon by criminals who purport to be the protectors of our nations; the nations which they’ve conspired to hand over to international banking families intent on the destruction of humanity.

It’s about we started taking responsibility for our own futures, or own wellbeing and our own minds because it is abundantly clear that those in control have no will or capacity to do so and are in fact doing their utmost to destroy our societies and with it the very fabric of the human race.

SMART METERS: A triple threat

The PPJ Gazette

Marti Oakley

“Along with the known health hazards, the unwarranted and unlawful surveillance and inflated energy rates after installation of a SMART METER, is the threat of compromised national security.

As a nationwide revolt is growing against the invasive and costly electric Smart Meters, public utilities and corporations, intent on putting the entire nation under surveillance unlawfully, not to mention creating a massive health threat, are moving quickly to install phase 2 of the SMART GRID:  Gas Smart Meters.  It won’t stop there; they are planning on rolling out SMART water meters as quickly as possible.

On March 31, 2011 in Capitola California, it was reported that PG & E spokesman Jeff Smith said a total of 17 of the wireless devices were installed on residences and businesses where existing meters had been damaged by floods. Fifteen of the meters were for gas and two were for electric.

The City Council placed a moratorium on Smart Meter installations in February, though the California Public Utilities Commission has sole authority over PG&E.”
The CPUC has no authority to override a city council inititiative and to move ahead with a private corporate contract between CPUC  and PG&E that the public is unaware of, has not seen and did not enter into.

The California Public Utilities Commission may have sole authority over PG & E, but they do not have authority over private property and the owner’s rights to refuse the meters.  The statement CPUC is using is misleading as it leads people to believe that because the CPUC has authority over PG&E, that that authority is somehow extended to private citizens.

“The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) has authorized the state’s investor owned utilities (PG&E) to replace conventional customer meters with SmartMeters in order to give consumers greater control over their energy use,” Chow said. “Section 8 of Article 12 of the California Constitution states that ‘[a] city, county, or other public body may not regulate matters over which the Legislature grants regulatory power to the Commission.”

PG&E has had to admit there is no mandate to install these meters.  Because the legislature has issued no mandates and the governor has not signed off on any mandates, the claim by PG&E and CPUC of Sect.8 Article 12 of the California Constitution does not apply.  This section applies only if the legislature directs CPUC to engage the program.  Once this happens, CPUC can then enact regulations but these cannot arbitrarily infringe on property and civil rights.

No one is disputing CPUC’s authority to contract with whomever it pleases. What is disputed is CPUC contracting with PG&E and then foisting the provisions of this private, unrevealed contract onto the public.  Clearly the California legislature did not intend for private contracts struck by CPUC to be used arbitrarily against the citizens, nor was their intent to enable a system of spying and endangerment of public health.

CPUC has NO authority over private citizens and cannot arbitrarily subject them to a product or service they do not want and surely do not need.  This is a clear violation of the Commerce clause of the Constitution; no one can be forced to buy a product they do not want or be forced to enter into an unrevealed contract with another entity most especially through coercion and extortion. The jurisdiction referred to is actually a privately struck corporate contract and can be enforced only within the contracting party’s.

In an effort to deflect the growing revolt over the meters as a result of the health hazards they represent and, because the claimed savings from having one of these hazardous meters installed is non-existent, PG&E has resorted to extortion, using coercion to pressure consumers into allowing them to install the meter.  While many citizens objected to the meters at town hall meetings with PG&E, the spokesmen for PG&E claimed there was no “opt-out” provision, but had to admit that there was in fact, no mandate giving them authority to install the meters.  As no mandate exists, there can be no “opt-in”, such as forced compliance either, but PG&E carefully never mentions that.

These Meters represent a direct threat to the over all health of communities and should never have been installed on the first home, much less 15 million+ homes.
From comes this statement:
This is of great concern because the exposure to microwave and radiowave radiation from these meters is involuntary and continuous. The transmitting meters may not even comply with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) “safety” standards (see However, those standards were initially designed to protect an average male from tissue heating (cooking) during a brief exposure. These standards were not designed to protect a diverse population from the non-thermal effects of continuous exposure to microwave and radiowave radiation. Therefore, these “safety” standards were not designed to protect the public from health problems under the circumstances which the meters are being used.
Having been faced with a rejection of their hazardous meters, PG&E in collusion with the energy provider, then decided to charge a $40 fee just to process the order of refusal from the consumer and followed that up with notice that they would be attaching as much as $12 a month as a surcharge (extortion fee) to penalize the consumer for refusing the meter.  After all, a meter reader would have to be paid to walk by and scan your analog meter and they do not want to pay this expense….although they will write it off their taxes as an expense and re-title the revenue stream produced by this surcharge as an expense, also.  Either way the utility gets an increase in revenue, which is part of the plan.
Smart Meters: A threat to national Security

Along with the known health hazards, the unwarranted and unlawful surveillance and inflated energy rates after installation of a SMART METER, is the threat of compromised national security. SMART GRID, the system intended to be linked together from Canada to Mexico and used to control power availability and usage has a back door “shut-off” switch. This switch makes the system vulnerable to hacking which could shut down not only localities and states, but also all government.  The “shut-off” switch was installed to allow the federal or even state governments to arbitrarily shut down single homes or businesses, or entire cities or states.

From the Federal perspective, entire states or regions of the US could be denied access to power as a means of coercing citizens into complying with Federal mandates and encroachment.  This switch would be invaluable in case of  civil unrest …(its actual intended use)….in cutting phones, lights, heat, air conditioning and overall power access in the event of some paranoid fantasy being expressed in the homeland security agency, the military, or even in the White House.  The switch has no other intended purpose other than disabling an area in order to cut communications and necessary power in order to disable a civil revolt. (I wonder why they are so worried about that?)

As the second and third phase of this control grid is put into place, water, electricity and gas will be delivered only as long as we are able to pay the inflated rates based on market activity and only so long as we cooperate with federal encroachment.
The noose tightens.

The problem with SMART GRID is its vulnerability to hacking which could directly affect all systems in the Federal government.  But, as with most things the government does, the stated reason for doing anything bears little resemblance to what they actually intend.  SMART GRID, SMART METERS, are intended to control every aspect of your daily life and to gather and report as much personal information from your residence or business as possible, all of it collected and stored in constantly growing files compiled by various domestic spy agencies.  SMART GRID is not about energy efficiency and conservation.  It is a system of spying and population control that can result in the immediate disruption of all utilities for any reason.

Don’t worry.  If they ever shut the GRID or any portion of it down they will fabricate some wild story about how a terrorist living on the back of a three humped camel blew up the kill switch because he hated us for our electricity. And a fair number of you will believe it.

Their System is Breaking

Posted by David S. D'Amato on Jul 22, 2011

“The euro and stock markets fell,” reports BBC News, “and borrowing costs of indebted countries rose, as worries over debt crises in the eurozone and US mounted.” Ahead of a meeting of European leaders set to begin in Thursday (July 21), gold spiked to record highs and financial stocks plummeted.

As trust in the state wanes, interest rates on government debt bonds have risen starkly, accompanied by growing worries that governments around the world — including the U.S. — will begin to default on their debt obligations. All the while politicians insist that, in the words of U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, government must act “forcefully” to prevent further crisis.

Whether or not any particular state is currently in default on its debt, the economic system of statism, built on theft and exploitation, is at all times unstable and on the verge of collapse. By rendering inefficient business models and pursuits profitable where they otherwise would not be, the state promotes the accumulation of wealth in losing commercial activities.

The state’s arbitrary rules and regulations, barriers to market entry erected under the pretext of “consumer protection,” create an environment wherein multinational corporate giants suck up all of the oxygen. Where — in a market freed from the constraints of the ruling class — societal wealth and investments would flow into cost-effective and socially beneficial enterprises, today the outlets for all economic resources are systematically determined by the interests of elites.

To brace its crony capitalism against the constant pressure of economic reality, the state must spend ever more, both allaying the strains of widespread poverty and unemployment and — more significantly — subsidizing the operating costs of huge, powerful companies. “Too big to fail” became the familiar refrain in the incipiency of the present economic downturn, and it is indeed true that in the current, statist economy, many of the most important pivot points of the system are the most thoroughly intertwined with the state.

Consider, for example, what would happen to the U.S. economy if the gigantic war-mobilization sector were to suddenly disappear. Though we unmindfully label murder industry contractors “the private sector,” virtually all of its jobs and revenues are the result of astronomical levels of government spending. Further, its diseconomies and wastes are passed onto the American taxpayer, that seemingly endless reserve on which the ruling class can draw to nourish its sickly pyramid scheme.

Eventually, though, the underlying, ever-present infirmities of the system surface in the kinds of ruinous tragedies we’ve witnessed through the past few years, the kinds that never seem to touch the fat cats who actually benefit from all of the government intervention we’re taught to esteem. Within an economic paradigm in which the state has predetermined the pathways for both natural and human resources, it should come as no surprise that wealth gathers in those favored individuals, companies and industries chosen by legislators and bureaucrats.

The fluidity and variability of genuine free markets necessarily preclude the kinds of economic misjudgments and abuses that lead to speculative bubbles and surging government debt. Where commercial activities must take place within the rigid framework created by the state, however, crisis is unavoidable.

As anarchist theorist and historian Shawn P. Wilbur noted not long ago, “I think it’s pretty important to face the possibility that maybe what we have now is so big that it can’t do anything but fail.” And although it contradicts the conventional wisdom, “forceful” action by the state is what created these disasters in the first place, thwarting the kind of competition that could have undercut the criminal monopolies at the center of the financial plotline.

The state is and always has been in the service of a small elite. Genuine free markets, the voluntary exchanges we would all make absent coercion, are by definition the instrument of “the people” at large. It’s time we finally stop trusting monumental decisions about the world economy to a handful of corrupt politicians. It’s time we see what free people will do when left to make those decisions one at a time, on a human scale without aggressive interference.

A Declaration of the Independence of Cyberspace

 Uncensored Magazine
A Declaration of the Independence of Cyberspace
We are creating a world where anyone, anywhere may express his or her beliefs, no matter how singular, without fear of being coerced into silence or conformity.

By John Perry Barlow, co-founder, Electronic Frontier Foundation

Governments of the Industrial World, you weary giants of flesh and steel, I come from Cyberspace, the new home of Mind. On behalf of the future, I ask you of the past to leave us alone. You are not welcome among us. You have no sovereignty where we gather.

We have no elected government, nor are we likely to have one, so I address you with no greater authority than that with which liberty itself always speaks. I declare the global social space we are building to be naturally independent of the tyrannies you seek to impose on us. You have no moral right to rule us nor do you possess any methods of enforcement we have true reason to fear.

Governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed. You have neither solicited nor received ours. We did not invite you. You do not know us, nor do you know our world. Cyberspace does not lie within your borders. Do not think that you can build it, as though it were a public construction project. You cannot. It is an act of nature and it grows itself through our collective actions.

You have not engaged in our great and gathering conversation, nor did you create the wealth of our marketplaces. You do not know our culture, our ethics, or the unwritten codes that already provide our society more order than could be obtained by any of your impositions.

You claim there are problems among us that you need to solve. You use this claim as an excuse to invade our precincts. Many of these problems don’t exist. Where there are real conflicts, where there are wrongs, we will identify them and address them by our means. We are forming our own Social Contract. This governance will arise according to the conditions of our world, not yours. Our world is different.

Cyberspace consists of transactions, relationships, and thought itself, arrayed like a standing wave in the web of our communications. Ours is a world that is both everywhere and nowhere, but it is not where bodies live.

We are creating a world that all may enter without privilege or prejudice accorded by race, economic power, military force, or station of birth.

We are creating a world where anyone, anywhere may express his or her beliefs, no matter how singular, without fear of being coerced into silence or conformity.

Your legal concepts of property, expression, identity, movement, and context do not apply to us. They are based on matter, There is no matter here.

Our identities have no bodies, so, unlike you, we cannot obtain order by physical coercion. We believe that from ethics, enlightened self-interest, and the commonweal, our governance will emerge. Our identities may be distributed across many of your jurisdictions.

The only law that all our constituent cultures would generally recognize is the Golden Rule. We hope we will be able to build our particular solutions on that basis. But we cannot accept the solutions you are attempting to impose.

In the United States, you have today created a law, the Telecommunications Reform Act, which repudiates your own Constitution and insults the dreams of Jefferson, Washington, Mill, Madison, DeToqueville, and Brandeis. These dreams must now be born anew in us.

You are terrified of your own children, since they are natives in a world where you will always be immigrants. Because you fear them, you entrust your bureaucracies with the parental responsibilities you are too cowardly to confront yourselves.

In our world, all the sentiments and expressions of humanity, from the debasing to the angelic, are parts of a seamless whole, the global conversation of bits. We cannot separate the air that chokes from the air upon which wings beat.

In China, Germany, France, Russia, Singapore, Italy and the United States, you are trying to ward off the virus of liberty by erecting guard posts at the frontiers of Cyberspace. These may keep out the contagion for a small time, but they will not work in a world that will soon be blanketed in bit-bearing media.

Your increasingly obsolete information industries would perpetuate themselves by proposing laws, in America and elsewhere, that claim to own speech itself throughout the world. These laws would declare ideas to be another industrial product, no more noble than pig iron.

In our world, whatever the human mind may create can be reproduced and distributed infinitely at no cost. The global conveyance of thought no longer requires your factories to accomplish.

These increasingly hostile and colonial measures place us in the same position as those previous lovers of freedom and self-determination who had to reject the authorities of distant, uninformed powers. We must declare our virtual selves immune to your sovereignty, even as we continue to consent to your rule over our bodies. We will spread ourselves across the Planet so that no one can arrest our thoughts.

We will create a civilization of the Mind in Cyberspace. May it be more humane and fair than the world your governments have made before.

Conspiracy's Longer Timeline

The Daily Bell
Thursday, July 14, 2011 – by Staff Report

9/11 And The Rise of The World Wolf State ... It is an amazing fact of history that what passes for history in the West is factually untrue. The people get public mythologies and government lies instead of the facts, so what they know is not real. Currently, the State is the principal actor and recorder of history. And what it records is not the truth, but what is politically convenient for the corrupt oligarchs and various special interests who have captured the State's myth-making powers. If we don't know the real history of financial crises, terrorist attacks, and wars then we can't claim to live in free societies. Today, the power to create and write history is in the dominion of the State. And the history it is writing is based on lies, deception, and propaganda. Since the end of World War II a slow and gradual political revolution has occurred in America, England, France, Canada, Australia, and other Western nations against the liberal democratic state. In its place has risen what William Ralph Inge called the "Wolf State" in his 1948 book, "The End of an Age." - The Excavator

Dominant Social Theme: The state is the answer to our problems and the cradle of our dreams of freedom.

Free-Market Analysis: This is an interesting article, once again, by the Excavator, a university student who runs a blog devoted to exposing the "truth" of the new world order. He has apparently discovered a book written by William Ralph Inge, a professor of divinity at Cambridge and Dean of St Paul's Cathedral, way back in the 1940s. Inge coined a name for the Nazi state – the "Wolf State."
According to Inge (in the Excavator's words), the Wolf State was the bedrock of Nazi Germany, but it "did not begin with Hitler and will unfortunately survive it ... The Wolf State outlasted the madness of Hitler and Nazism to be worshipped anew by another set of madmen elsewhere in the world. In post-WWII America, new devils arose under the cover of the CIA and the National Security State as part of an American Wolf State ...

"They exploited the American people's fear and ignorance in the Cold War climate for the political and financial gain of a powerful few. America's wolves were hungry and lethal. They worked up a big appetite in the 1950s after taking down a number of democratically elected governments, but that was not enough. The Big Get was America."

The Wolf State began in earnest in America, with the assassination of President John F. Kennedy which "turned the page on the short-lived American experiment in self-government." Kennedy had "wounded the ambitious and cunning wolf pack by firing CIA director Allen Dulles and refusing to commit American blood and treasure to a hopeless war in Vietnam." Thus a reason to murder him.

Inge was not a prophetic genius, we learn. "He was just able to see the writing on the wall by the end of World War II that political systems in the West were in a deep state of crisis. Although Nazism was defeated, the philosophy that gave birth to Nazism did not disappear from history." Here's some more from the article:
In the chapter, 'The Philosophy of the Wolf State,' Inge said that the institutions of a free society and a government are at war with an external enemy are naturally at odds with each other, writing: The question may be raised whether the repudiation of parliamentary government and of all the ideas which collectively constituted what Fisher calls the Liberal experiment is necessarily connected with aggressive imperialism and blatant immoralism ...

The answer seems to be that the theory of the State which we have to examine demands that a nation shall be permanently on a war footing, and that this type of State is almost incompatible with liberty and decent behaviour. We are discovering with regret that in order to combat Fascism we are obliged to a large extent to fascise ourselves. Power politics and liberty can hardly exist together.

In the beginning of the 21st century the eyes of the Western Wolf State turned inward. There was a hint of this dark reality during the Cold War period when secret intelligence agencies and covert military groups carried out terrorist attacks in European cities as part of Operation Gladio which were falsely blamed on leftist groups. But those activities were mild compared to the treason and state terror that occurred on September 11, 2001 and July 7, 2005.

The Wolf State had grown up and come alive on September 11. New imperialist wars were planned, and a whole new world government structure was being put in place behind the scenes. 9/11 was the cataclysmic event that made the people go along with new wars, state surveillance, and the militarization of society. II. The World Wolf State It is worth repeating again and again that America underwent a radical political revolution in the 20th century that was orchestrated from the very top, and which was instigated by foreign financial interests.

This revolution came into being "in the dark and as a result of moral corruption and political treachery at the highest levels of society and government in America." Additionally, the trigger was actually the establishment of the private Federal Reserve Bank in 1913 – which provided the conspiracy with a bloodsucking appendage even as mainstream media provides the anesthesia.

Since 1913, the article explains, the world has not been the same. America, once a bright and shining light on the hill, was turned into an "an evil empire and a country of unspeakable evil, capable of sacrificing its own people for the god of war, as it did on September 11, 2001."

Sadly, millions of men died in World War II to rid the West of fascism, and yet the forces of fascism that hijacked the West's secret intelligence agencies, have reimposed fascism, this time on the victors of World War II. "America and the West are now dying from the same disease that inflicted Germany in the 1930s and other countries in history: Blind State Worship."

This is a courageous, eloquent retelling using a notable source. But from the standpoint of directed history it does not, yet, go far enough. The modern one-world conspiracy, according to alternative reality-based historians may have gotten its start in the 1700s with the establishment of the Illuminati; its first notable victory may have been in France, during the French Revolution with public agents like Maximilien Robespierre.

The great banking families of Europe and their enablers were apparently behind the French Revolution. This was their answer to the laissez-faire movement in America. In fact, one could argue that the American Revolution, or at least the US Constitution that came out of it, were already influenced by Black Aristocracy of Europe. The Constitution for all its greatness is merely a generalized road map and actually reserves to the State fairly broad based powers. This was one reason a faction of the Founding Fathers insisted on writing a Bill of Rights to clarify the Constitution's intentions.

The French Revolution turned the American Revolution on its head. While thanks in part to the eloquence of Thomas Jefferson, the American Revolution was positioned as anti-state (certainly anti-British), the French Revolution looked TO the state for remedies. It was believed during the French inspired "Age of Reason" that humanity could build a better future via the application of science to state-craft.

This genocidal certainty actually found its echo in America's technocracy movement in the 1920s. It has manifested itself in the 21st century within the context of Peak Oil and Smart Meters. America was always a primary target for one-world elites because it was clearly evident that America was going to emerge as a primary world power.

The US was a profoundly agragrian, free-market culture – and the elites did the best they could to undermine it. They worked through their apparent agent Alexander Hamilton to influence the Constitution. Later on they backed Abraham Lincoln – or so it seems – through the great New York banks and seemingly helped plan and implement the American Civil War.

It was the Civil War, actually that was the turning point for American liberties. Once states could no longer secede, the whole paraphernalia of authoritarian rule could be brought to bear on the US. The 50-years after the Civil War saw a reshaping of America. It changed America from an agrarian, free-market society into a corrupt, urban one. It is no coincidence that America political corruption began in earnest after the Civil War.

The elites infiltrated such apparent European banking agents as JP Morgan into American finance. It is more than likely, according to conspiracy historians, that the panic of 1907 was caused or exacerbated by JP Morgan in order to set up an American-style central bank. This duly happened in 1913 along with the imposition of an income tax.

The "Excavator" is certainly correct that the establishment of an American central bank was a turning point in freedom-history. The Civil War ended the American republic. It could be said that the establishment of the Federal Reserve began America's history as Empire.

The advent of the Internet in the 20th and 21st centuries has provided the world, and especially America (where its impact is most felt), with a kind of Internet Reformation similar to the Protestant Reformation coming after the creation of the Gutenberg Press. It took the Gutenberg Press 100 years to have a major impact; the Internet has had a similar impact in 20 years.

The great fear-based promotions that the power elite has used to control society, the dominant social themes of scarcity used to create the receptacles of global governance, these are tumbling down now, or at least beginning to erode. Alternative media chat rooms and increasingly mainstream venues, are full of vituperation about the new world order. Sometimes it seems that it is all people talk about. The worse it gets, the more people speak out.

Unfortunately, the Internet has steadily revealed the creation of an abysmal, growing domestic tyranny in the US. "Net observers should see the Internet, like Karma, works both ways. Even as civil rights are undone, so the elite's mechanisms of manipulation are exposed. There is a reason that George Bush, Sr. once stated that the American people would be most unhappy to learn what the top political and financial elites had done in the 20th century. The revelations of directed history reveal an astonishing, absolute brutality.

These people (for it was not we or you) were content to drop atom bombs on the people of Japan, killing, inevitably, millions of women and children. The message was not only meant for Japan; it was a broadside aimed at the rest of the world, in particular Stalin. Messages had been sent before (the telegraph sent a famous message, too, on inception) but this one was constructed of a genocide.

It is certainly conceivable that Anglosphere elites were behind ALL the major wars of the 20th century and that the results of these conflicts were intended to be the infrastructure of global government via the UN, etc. But in the late 20th century and early 21st century it seems the elites have increasingly taken (once more) to attacking America itself.

We do not know the details of what happened on 9/11, but like many if not most Americans, we are suspicious and believe the government has lied. Even a majority of the 9/11 Commission now claim they were serially lied to by the powers that be. The events should be reinvestigated seeing that there are so many questions and contradictions surrounding it. What has come out of it has only been evil: torture, rendition and the phony war on terror.

But even leaving aside 9/11, what is astonishing is that so many violent, "newsworthy" acts that took place in America in the past two decades directly or indirectly implicate the American government. There was the horrible attack at Waco, and the events of Ruby Ridge. These were not merely singular, unconnected events.

The Columbine shootings, for instance, reveal clearly there were more individuals involved than the two dead teenagers. Some other school shootings raise the same suspicions. (Even the attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan has come under question given that his attacker had to shoot THROUGH a car door to hit Reagan, thus giving rise to the assumption that Reagan was wounded via ricochet.) Americans have not stopped the violence committed abroad in their name abroad; thus, the beast has turned now and has sunk its claws and fangs into the domestic body politic.

The FBI, it came out recently, is refusing to provide a regional court with video tapes for the Oklahoma City bombing, claiming they have been, perhaps, misfiled and cannot in any event be found. They also confiscated all the available video tapes in the Washington DC area after the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon. What is increasingly clear is that the FBI is acting as a gatekeeper for many of the most murderous – or at least controversial – events of the 20th and 21st centuries, obscuring their provenance at the very least. The FBI is evidently and obviously the government's "partner in crime" in this regard.

Today, US polity can be aptly described as laboring under a great weight of fear. It is the reason why so little gets done in Washington. It is not gridlock but terror that keeps legislators in line. This has been the case since J Edgar Hoover began collecting files on politicians in order to blackmail them; but the fear is far thicker now and thus more powerful. With its ability to wiretap almost at will, the FBI has a totalitarian weapon of intimidation and it is one that is useful in propping up the status quo of the military-industrial complex.

Conclusion: The history of the Modern Age is a powerful, authoritarian sweep. It began in its modern incarnation some 300 years ago – perhaps even longer. It is run by powerful banking families and their enablers and its goal is one world government. The concept of the Wolf State that the Truth Excavator exhumes is only a kind of excrescence of larger conspiracy rooted seemingly in ancient times. No political movement can really describe it; no state mechanism ignites it. It is, unfortunately, much deeper than that.

Nanotechnology: Tracking food from farm to fork…and you right along with it

The PPJ Gazette

Marti Oakley
Noting “certain food-related ailments” this committee failed to ask the most obvious and relevant question:
If these ailments are a result of the food we are eating…..what is the underlying problem with the food?  And why would finding a remedy for this increase in possibly deadly ailments include further contamination and adulteration of the food supply with nano-chips?

I had come across an article in the Dairy Reporter last year, about the coming plans to insert nano-technology into food.  In the article from DR: Nanotechnology in food: What’s the big idea? By Caroline Scott-Thomas, 26-Jul-2010 this observation was made:
“At IFT’s nanoscience conference last week, major industry players discussed how to avoid a rerun of the GMO debacle with consumers – with some saying that one solution could be to say nothing about introducing nanotechnology in foods and to do it anyway.”

We all have enough experience with today’s bio-pirates who are openly colluding with the USDA, FDA and anyone else in government, like “Dirty Harry” Reid NV (D), who single-handedly and unanimously cast the one vote needed to pass the fake food safety bill, to know that food safety and longer shelf life is most likely not what this technology is actually intended to do.  As it is, most products on the shelves of stores now are so chemically laden and contain so much gmo that I doubt spoilage is an option. After all….can chemicals, pesticides and herbicides actually rot?

Most of what sits in our stores is not really food as we have known it.  It is a stew of sorts; chemicals, additives, flavorings, colorings, enhancers, preservatives, aspartame, neotame, and stuff we can’t even identify along with residual hormones, vaccines, antibiotics, herbicides and pesticides. It has been irradiated, sprayed with viruses and now covered in ammonia.  Reading any label for content makes one think you would be just as well off if you drank floor cleaner and it most likely might be a lot tastier although just as empty of nutrition.

We also know, from experience, that no matter what kind of song and dance emanates from one of these foreign corporations (FAO/WHO) and Big Ag and the Bio-pirates that nothing is in the works that will not have an adverse application of some kind, which is most likely the true intent.  Of course my immediate reaction is first and foremost: What are these foreign corporations doing setting “standards in technology” (profit and control) that are to be foisted on the US? But ….I digress…. that’s a story for another day.

The potential for abuse of this technology being used adversely is huge.
Big AG and the bio-pirates make no bones about their intent to track food from field to fork and at every step of the process in between which is why it is so imperative that they seize control of production and supply. It is really hard to control the food supply when you have not yet been able to lay claim to all of it no matter how cooperative “Dirty Harry” and his merry band of corporate hiney huggers were or are.

In this report: FAO/WHO Expert meeting on the application of nanotechnologies in the food and agriculture sectors: potential food safety implications:
The industry is, therefore, always seeking new technologies to offer products with improved tastes, flavours, textures, longer shelf-life, and better safety and traceability.
  • to address certain food-related ailments, such as obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, digestive disorders, certain types of cancer (e.g. bowel cancer) and food allergies

What the report fails to address or even mention is that every medical disorder listed has been greatly exacerbated and occurs at an accelerated rate due to the chronic contamination and adulteration of food supplies with chemical, pharmaceutical and foreign toxins.

I doubt any reasonable person would conclude that the underlying problem was a lack of RFID nano-chips, or a lack of organic nano’s, in the food supply. Or that there was any personal value in having your medication monitored by a satellite in the sky, at least for the reasons it would be done .  This is an invasion of privacy.

According to this report, this technology will be applied to animal feeds and water, right along with commercially available foods.  This way, no matter what you eat, you will be ingesting numerous versions of nanochips of one kind or another.  The committee does ponder the question as to whether an accumulation of nano’s could cause further health problems, possibly creating peripheral problems from accumulation.  Also, the committee is concerned about the possibility of the chips to escape the GI track and leech out into other internal organs.

Nano-chips will be used to supposedly make food taste more like food by enhancing the flavor and texture.  Here again the obvious is avoided.  Natural food left uncontaminated by toxins, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and whatever else could be thrown in, tends to taste……like food.  You don’t need enhancers, or nanoparticles to stimulate your taste buds to fool your brain into thinking you actually just ate something nutritious and tasty.

Nanochips inserted as RFID is the last nail in the coffin of food freedom.  Having reduced the food supply and the available products to a substance that has to be enhanced or that has to be chemically pumped up to make you think it might really be food, is the problem.  And, it is an intentionally created system meant to eventually accommodate the insertion of RFID nanochips to detect not only what you are eating, but to extend surveillance of the individual.  Having reduced the commercial food supply to dangerously toxic concoctions, the report states, the intention and subsequent use of nanochips in food and pharmaceuticals will be used to monitor:
  • the application of nanotechnologies in all aspects of the primary production of foods of plant and animal origin;
  • the application of nanotechnologies in food processing, packaging and distribution;
  • the use of nanodiagnostic tools for detection and monitoring in food and agricultural production.
  • Nanotechnologies applied in the environment were also included if there was a potential direct impact on food safety through the environment to the food chain.
  • The Expert Meeting was asked not to cover occupational health matters surrounding the use and application of nanotechnologies in the food and agriculture sector
RFID Nano’s are so small that once ingested they can circulate undetected by the immune system.  Kind of like an on-board gps for humans or anything else for that matter.

The red flags should be flying right about now.  Here is the plan for field to fork, from fork to human monitoring and individual surveillance.  While I would truly like to think that the intentions of this committee of experts was to protect the food supply from further and unnecessary contamination, it is apparent the focus was instead, planning the future use of nanotechnology to track and control food production and its consumption. While many may argue this will help with traceability, it is a subterfuge meant to divert from the crux of the issue.

While some of what this committee addressed was the current use of organic nano technology which is said to be water soluble and which allows for greater absorption of nutrients, currently used in vitamins and supplements to some degree, and in some readily available food products, it is obvious the intent is to eventually track and control through nano-enabled RFID surveillance, the production and supply of food.  Organic nano technology and RFID nano technology are two divergent aspects that are intentionally discussed as though they are one and the same.  They are not.

Whatever happened to just plain food?

You want liberty? This is what it takes…

Brandon Smith
July 6th, 2011

Brandon Smith of Alt-Market has generously contributed this missive for your reading pleasure and educational enlightenment. Somewhere along the way, no doubt with the help of Big Brother, our definitions of freedom and liberty have been lost in translation. The following article is a must-read for adults and teens alike, as it outlines ten critical ‘rules’ for liberty that have been forgotten or looked down upon for too long. The end result, of course, is a citizenry that is quick to point the finger at the first sign of trouble and one that has become dependent on government to solve basic problems.

The Essential Rules Of Liberty

There is nothing worse in this world than an enslaved man who naively believes himself free, except, perhaps, trying to explain to that same man his predicament. You can lay truth after truth before his feet. You can qualify your every position with cold hard irrefutable data. You can plead and scream and raise veritable hell, but before he will ever listen, he must first become aware of his own dire circumstances. As long as he views himself as “safe and secure”, as long as he imagines his chains to be wings, he will see no reason to question the validity of the world around him, and he will certainly never invest himself into changing his own deluded destiny.

Unfortunately, there are many such men crawling and scraping about here in what was once a land graced with a self sufficient and independently minded public majority. The great lie that has been perpetuated in this country over the past several decades is that we can defer our responsibilities of vigilance and place our well being and our futures into the hands of others for the sake of “collective efficiency”, or leisure. We have been conditioned to live in a state of constant indifference, a society which prizes compromise over principle and steadfast resolve. Those who refuse to compromise that which is honorable for the sake of ease and comfort are indicted as “extremist” or even criminal. The idea of personal revolution is treated with discomfort, and all we claim to stand for becomes muddled in a fog of inaction and cynicism. As Americans, we have forgotten what it means to earn and protect our own freedoms. We have forgotten that in liberty, there are standards that must be defended.

This, however, does not mean we cannot yet again remember ourselves. The desire for freedom is as inborn and natural as our own heartbeat, as our own breath. It is instinct. It cannot be erased from within, only oppressed from without. The tide has always been against tyranny, always, though we may find that hard to believe. If liberty was not ingrained into our very DNA, humanity would have succumbed to bondage and self destructed long ago. This is not the case. Stretching under the surface of our superficial force-fed mainstream culture are the roots of something real, and honest. Simmering beneath our so called “civilized” veneer, many Americans are finally rediscovering their wild and defiant origins. In the recent past we have been taught to feel ashamed of our rebelliousness. Now, we are learning to hold it quite dear.

For those of us who are awake, and for those who are on the verge of understanding, certain rules come into play that strengthen our stance and shield us from folly. Liberty is not a self perpetuating social condition. It requires guidelines, and effort, and sacrifice. Liberty will not survive without our willingness to maintain it. If you are not ready and willing to fight for your own independence, then you are not truly free.

Let’s examine some of the inherent laws and guidelines of free will and free action that will allow us to not only win back our self determination, but to keep it for generations to come. You want liberty? This is what it takes…

Rule #1: Never Take Anything For Granted

A lot of people today seem to have serious issues with expectation and assumption; what we in the alternative media often refer to as “normalcy bias”. We have grown used to the idea of abundance and relative safety. So much so, that we fail to notice when our abundance and safety begin to disappear. We assume that the condition of the world today will be the condition of the world tomorrow, and for all time. In the U.S., we have even come to expect not only that our prosperity and our freedom are inevitable, but that they will also increase exponentially with each passing generation. This is a relatively new and narrow cultural mindset likely caused by the explosion in industrial growth after WWII which seemed to erase all memory of the Great Depression in our society, leaving us with the belief that surely, our circumstances would never become so desperate again.

Those who are truly independent realize that nations, no matter how affluent, can self destruct at a moment’s notice, especially when they fail to recognize their own weaknesses and confront their own demons. Never suppose that that which is good and just will remain without your own initiative. Never wait for others to fix those problems which you could just as easily solve yourself. Never expect that freedoms won cannot also be easily lost. Always prepare for the worst outcome, and strive for the best outcome.

Rule #2: Educate Yourself

Never become a useful idiot, or a waste of oxygen. Being a part of the herd is nothing to be proud of. Strive for knowledge, and thirst for the truth every moment of every day. Many of the things we deem “important” in modern society are in the grand scheme hollow attempts to fill our lives with distraction, only wasting time until we finally bite the dust filled with regret.Pretending to further the depth of one’s life is not the same as actually doing so. I can’t think of anything more horrifying than becoming a man who rushes around frantically every waking moment, but ultimately accomplishes nothing.

Do not assume that you already have a tangible grasp of the truth, especially if all your knowledge has been handed to you. Instead, research that knowledge for yourself. Put that which you have been taught to the test. Only in this way will you finally learn. Expand your horizons. Learn something useful. Remove unnecessary distractions for at least part of your day and focus on increasing your awareness of the environment you live in. There are very few things in this world more important than this, and self education should take precedence over everything else except your family. “Lack of time” is no excuse for ignorance. Make time! The ignorant are led. The knowledgeable lead themselves.

Rule #3: Don’t Be A Pansy

Liberty is not for the faint of heart. Emotional courage is paramount to freedom, and it can be expressed to incredible effect by even the most unlikely heroes. I’ve seen children with more courage and tenacity than some full grown men.

If one recognizes the gravity of the situation we face as a people, if one understands the considerable danger involved in the fall of a Republic to the depths of fear and autocracy, but still does nothing, that person has not only failed the world, he has also failed himself. “Making waves”, or drawing the ire of “authority”, is the least of our worries. If you have utilized an objective eye, and know you are right in your position, then there is no reason to fear criticism from anyone.

Sociopolitical action, nonconformity, noncompliance, and self defense, are unavoidable aspects of a society that wishes to maintain its freedoms. There is no way around it. If you are not willing to stick your neck out and expose yourself to risk, you remove all chance of possible gain. If you are a self proclaimed activist that refuses to sacrifice, that refuses to struggle, then you have failed before you even began. Talk must lead to balanced action. Never thumb your nose at the devil without being ready to trade punches as well, or all is lost.

Rule #4: Stop Waiting For Others To Tell You What To Do

Independent people not only consider and implement the solutions of others, they also work on their own. Complaints abound lately in the Liberty Movement;
“When is someone going to do something!? What are YOU going to do about our predicament!?”

This is the question of a slave, not a free man. A free man asks, “What am I going to do about this predicament? What is MY solution to the problem?” Therein is the key to liberty; decentralized leadership and movements based on fluidity and spontaneity of action, instead of a great mass of people standing around stiffly waiting for orders on high, or a self styled messiah to engineer their world view. As soon as you place your very initiative under the control of others, you have lost the fight. Always consider the solid strategies of intelligent people, and adopt them if they are useful, but do not remain idle because you are too frightened to exert the effort to solve problems bigger than yourself. Spectators only witness history, they do not make history.

Rule #5: Cast Off What Is Unnecessary, Keep What Is Effective

Yes, I stole this rule from Bruce Lee, but it is just as applicable to social movements and economic stability as it is to the martial arts. Invasive debt creation, for instance, is a tool for subversion, and no people forced to bear the burden of liabilities they can never repay is free. Therefore, exorbitant debt must be avoided, or cast off completely.

In our personal lives, how many useless goods do we accumulate on a daily basis, instead of useful items that we may one day desperately need? How much of our life is spent accumulating garbage in order to keep up with “socially acceptable” levels of consumer behavior? How many of us cling to careers we hate in order to service our needless consumption? The ability to prioritize must become a virtue once again, and, we all need to shut off the cable television…

This rule also applies to governments. If a government no longer fulfills its sworn duties to the people, and no longer serves the purposes to which it was originally intended, then it too must be cast off and replaced with one that does serve the people, or, it must be forced to return to its inherent foundations. Today, this kind of talk is often referred to as “extremism”, or insurgency, no matter how correct it might be, which brings us to our next rule…

Rule #6: Ignore Establishment Labels

Tactical name calling is only effective if we actually care what other people think of us. Labels like “homegrown terrorist”, “extremist”, “doomer”, or “conspiracy theorist”, are designed to shame people into self censorship. That is to say, they pigeonhole movements and their participants into categories of public shame, causing said movements to fear social reprisal. They are also meant to forcefully assign “outsider” or “fringe” status to particular political positions in order to marginalize and weaken the resolve of those who hold them. Never mind that almost every powerful and honorable cultural movement in history once started out as “fringe”.

Early in our lives, we are taught that it is far better to be accepted, and to avoid standing out, even at the expense of our individualism. Unfortunately, many adults never outgrow this childish belief, and thus become vulnerable to tactics as absurd as simple ridicule. At bottom, being slandered by a thieving bureaucracy infested with soulless parasites bent on centralization at the expense of innocent human life is a bit laughable (this goes for you too, SPLC). Globalists, along with their media cronies and their think-tank sock puppets, will say ANYTHING to get what they want. Empty words and false labels cannot stop the truth, or a movement driven by the truth.

Rule #7: Cynicism Is The Path To Defeat

It is good to be critical, but not to the point of nihilism. America’s past is riddled with mistakes, bad judgments, horrible crimes, and downright stupidity; that doesn’t mean that the principles on which this country was founded are any less vital. We hear often from cynics that humanity has become too stupid and complacent to do what is right. However, stupidity and complacency are not inherent qualities. That’s an elitist fantasy with no basis in fact. Stupidity and complacency are learned behaviors, and they can be unlearned. What IS inherent is our ability to choose what path we will take. For adherents of liberty, we need only remind people that they have this choice. We can whine and cry all day long about how nobody pays attention and how there is no hope, or, we can exhaust all options before throwing in the proverbial towel. We don’t need to “like” society the way it is, but we do need to recognize the underlying potential of all people to become something much more than what they currently are (I can’t stand blind ignorance either, but I’m certainly not ready to accept it as a fact of American life). Remember, no fight is over until it is over.

Rule #8: True Authority Is Derived From Respect That Is Earned, Not Bought, Or Taken

A corrupt politician is just a criminal conman in a nice suit. A law enforcement officer who refuses to follow Constitutional Law is just a petty little tyrant in a black uniform. An economist who knowingly skews data to fit his own political bias or to serve the political biases of men above him is just a liar or an inept buffoon with an embossed piece of paper from an expensive university. A lab scientist or doctor who flubs experimentation to support the interests of the corporate world rather than the needs of the public is just a quack in a white coat. All too often, though, we find ourselves taking these cretins seriously all because they talk the talk and wear the costume. They are just people, and if they cannot do their jobs honestly, then they are useless people, who deserve our disdain, not our respect. We should never allow such men to wield positions of authority over us.

Rule #9: Take It Personally

When someone tries to steal from you, hurt you, or enslave you, unless you are some kind of nut, you take it pretty personally, right? Why should it be any different when a government commits the same grievances? Americans should be furious over the destruction of their economy, their currency, their infrastructure, and their Constitutional freedoms! They should be enraged over the endless wars overseas that are bankrupting the nation. They should be bellowing to the rooftops over the cooption of their political system by a slimy brood of corporate bankers. Is this “extremist” behavior? Who cares!? If your anger is not visible then it is not worth a damn. Don’t just get active, get emotional! This is about your life, and the lives of those you love. That’s not to say that we should take out our frustrations randomly and haphazardly, but if we can’t at least make known our anger over the misdeeds of government, then what the hell is the point of calling ourselves free?

Rule #10: You Are The First And Last Line Of Defense

Like it our not, this is our job. We have inherited a country on the verge of disaster, and we are tasked with cleaning it up, otherwise, there will be little left to pass on. We do not get to bask in illusory prosperity for the rest of our days. We do not get to feed off the entitlement program trough until we are fat and contented. We are not going to retain our rights without blood, sweat, and tears. We will not be building magical floating cities in the clouds or skyscrapers on Mars.We will NOT be remembered fondly as members of some fantastical “golden era”.

We have been thrust into the muck and the mire. We are being molded as the lost children of an age better forgotten. We have been slapped in the face with a dilemma so volatile and so incredible it may one day be called the greatest crisis of all time. We have drawn the short straw.

This could be viewed as some terrible doom. It could be held as a star crossed act of ferocious fate. We could fall to our knees and lament with despair, overcome with woe at our unbearable lot. But, this would be in violation of rule #3, and nobody wants to be a sobbing pansy. On the contrary, every “bad luck generation” is only so if they refuse to see the great fortune at their fingertips; if they refuse to seize the moment and conquer the giants of their day. The greater the hardship, the greater the enemy, the greater the heroes. We are faced with possibly the most unrelenting antagonists and the most treacherous obstacles in recent memory, or even distant memory. In the same spark of confrontation, we are also presented with unparalleled opportunity to change the course of the world forever. Whether or not we succeed, is entirely up to us.

9/11 And The Length of a Meme

The Daily Bell
Thursday, June 30, 2011 – by Staff Report

The freaky thing about the false flag attack on 9/11 is that a ready-made script to blame the attacks on radical Islamists was prepared and written years ahead of time. The false narrative of who did 9/11 and why they did it was so believable because media portrayals of Muslims as terrorists in films and other media created a very powerful effect on how people in the Western world saw the politics of the Middle East and the people who lived there. It was easy for the spin masters in the Bush administration, other elements of the U.S. government, and the Israeli government to implant a false version of reality into the public consciousness on September 11, 2001 because by that point the propaganda war against Muslims and Arabs had already been won. – The Excavator

Dominant Social Theme: Relax and let Dreamtime sweep over you. These are the best of times, and even when things go wrong we can make them right again.

Free-Market Analysis: This post (excerpted above) at The Excavator was also picked up by the Infowars media group. The Excavator is the project of an apparently young man called Saman Mohammadi, a "Truth Excavator" and the blog contains a number of lengthy articles exposing power elite manipulations.

This article is of interest to us because Mohammadi analyzes the expansion of dominant social theme – "Muslims are terrorists," though he doesn't use our terminology. Most interesting to us, he concludes by explaining that many do not believe the official narrative of 9/11:
Millions of individuals in America and millions more around the world have deleted the fictitious story of 9/11 from their mental software without the aid of the old media (newspapers, television, films, music), which is used as a cultural hardware system by a criminal transnational conspiracy to implant political and social beliefs into the public consciousness.

This is an amazing social and political awakening that may lead to fundamental changes in how the world is structured, how people are governed, and how societies make decisions. What began as a movement to find out the truth of what happened on 9/11 has grown in a short decade into a global consciousness movement that is determined to redefine politics and government forever.

This is a fascinating conclusion. Without using our vocabulary or frame of reference, Mohammadi sees what we see: That there is a larger human consciousness at work in these days that has made it increasingly difficult for the power elite to introduce and propagate their memes.

Our efforts have centered on explaining how and why the Anglosphere elites – a tiny cluster of impossibly wealthy families and their corporatist and religious facilitators – produce dominant social themes. They do it, we believe, to advance the cause of a world government, which will inevitably have as its cynosure the City of London and its affiliates in Israel, Washington DC and Europe.

The memes that the elites cultivate quite deliberately through such vast mind-control institutions as the Tavistock Institute and its affiliates are designed to frighten the Western middle classes into giving up power and wealth to a variety of globalist facilities specially prepared for that purpose. The same process is at work for the developing world.

In the 20th century, this globalist manipulation worked extraordinarily well. As we have tried to document, an entirely false narrative of Western history was created and presented to the larger Western public, one that was even subscribed to by the West's intelligentsia. When the intelligentsia is properly promoted, then the meme itself is almost bound to be successful. It will be propagated endlessly and credibly.

While the one-world conspiracy in its current format probably goes back at least 300 years, the past century was one that saw its penultimate realization. With seemingly total control over the media, the Anglosphere elites were able to create a narrative of stunning force and simplicity.

While there were numerous dominant social themes and sub themes, the most important theme of all was simply that some were better than others and the wisest and wealthiest of all were deserving of command, control and additional prosperity. The idea of a command-and-control economy (directed by a few on behalf of all) was propagated endlessly via the memes of central banking, the United Nations and other excrescences of central power.

In the early 21s century, however, something changed. The Internet came on the scene and began to unravel these promotions much as the Gutenberg Press some 600 years before had unraveled the power structures of its day. (This perception is of course judgmental; there is no quantitative measure that can be applied.)

Both the mechanism and its results seem increasingly evident to us. Mohammadi, without mentioning the mechanism, agrees. For us, there is something mysterious at work here. With some trepidation, we have described what is occurring as the influencing of a kind of hive mind.

It seems to us that human beings are extraordinarily connected via culture and exquisitely sensitive to changes in that culture. Mass communication means that everyone can understand something almost at the same time. And what is not understood almost instantly by all is soon communicated in other, informal venues.

There are obviously technological reasons for what is occurring; but the larger mechanism is instinctual and biological. The Gutenberg Press seems to have almost entirely leveled the elite power-justifications of the day. The unraveling of modern power elite memes in our view is perhaps something of an inevitability given the confluence of technology and biology.

Many in the alternative media, understanding the control exercised by power elites and its overwhelming Money Power are gloomily certain that a one-world order is preordained. Our argument remains that this strange "hive mind" is busily undermining the memes on which the elites rely. Money Power is strong, but the hive mind, perhaps, is stronger.

In fact, both these forces in human affairs (to mix metaphors) have the power of tectonic plates. They are inexorable and cannot be affected, at least in the short term. Just as Money Power has set its course in one direction, so the Internet Reformation has charted its path in another. Mohammadi sees this, too.

If his conclusion is noteworthy, the body of the article is interesting as well. It examines how the meme of "Islam as terror" was propagated. He writes that, "The rogue forces behind the 9/11 attacks, especially the neoconservatives, launched a coordinated and massive propaganda campaign before 9/11 against Arabs and Muslims in academia, media, and politics to make them look irrational, barbaric, and primitive. 9/11 was an act of self-prophecy by the neocons and the criminals in the rogue governments of the United States and Israel."

He then lists five steps summarizing how the "masters of reality implanted the fictitious narrative of the 9/11 events into the global popular consciousness."
First, "Hire intellectuals in academia and enlist think tanks to invent new enemies, hype the threat posed by foreign regimes to America, construct a fantasy-based belief system, and create an ideological paradigm that will serve the perverted interests and goals of the war establishment."

Second, "Hire journalists to pump the press with fabricated stories and lies to hype the dangerous new enemy until there is a blanket of disinformation and hysteria over the entire news media, national conversation, and popular culture. The people must be bathed in government lies to the point that anyone who wishes to dry himself with the towels of truth will be looked at as a paranoid conspiracy theorist."

Third, "Stage a big false flag attack like 9/11. Make it a public ritual and a highly symbolic event that changes the course of history in the direction you want. There is growing awareness of the fact popular beliefs about historical events and political figures are made. The controllers of the press in the United States and the Western world crafted a narrative about 9/11, international terrorism, and the war on terror that has no basis in fact, but which rationalizes dictatorial policies and criminal invasions of sovereign nations."

Fourth, "Get government agents and conspirators behind the 9/11 plot on television news stations immediately after the attacks to blame the enemies who were previously hyped in the press for the deed. Then repeat the official talking points in the press. Don't allow anyone to question the government's fictitious narrative about the event. Shout down critics as conspiracy theorists and unpatriotic nutcases."

Fifth, "Construct a big popular myth about how and why the 9/11 attacks happened and who was responsible. Cast Israel's enemies and the Empire's enemies (independent nations like Saddam's Iraq, Gaddafi's Libya, Iran, and North Korea) as 'evil' and "bad," and the U.S. empire/Israel as 'good.'"

These are good points, and we could come up with a few more. But the bottom line is the most important: 9/11 remains a "myth" as Mohammadi calls it, which makes little sense. Every part of the current story, from the phone calls made on the planes (which the FBI now claims did not occur) to the vast caves out of which Osama bin Laden operated (which have never been found) is questionable when examined with any sincere level of scrutiny.

Mohammadi tracks back the Islam-as-terrorist meme a long ways. He is especially clever about connecting it to big Hollywood blockbusters and TV. When one contemplates this mind-control what increasingly seems feasible is that the creation of Israel (and the subsequent radicalization of the Palestinians) provided fodder for the initial myth. Thus one could speculate (within the ambit of "directed history") that elite planning for a terrorist meme was linked to the introduction of Israel and may go back many decades.

This would not be an unusual speculation for a conspiratorial historian because there is a school of thought that holds important elite themes are planned decades and even centuries in advance. Bringing Israel to life was an arduous process that took well over 100 years. The Rothschilds in particular were involved from inception.

The reason for the length, of course, was that the powers-that-be cannot simply inject a meme into the body politic. it must be presented and positioned logically or interpolating it into the larger faux-historical narrative will prove difficult. This is an important point and one often overlooked by those who wish to analyze events through the lens of directed history.

One can make the argument that it is possible to gauge to some degree the level of stress elites are feeling by how cleverly (gradually) or aggressively memes are marketed. The more abrupt the introduction of a dominant social theme seems to be, the more urgency the power elite may be laboring under.

The 9/11 meme along with the war on terror seem to have been carefully developed. But neither official story is truthful. We have often suggested that there should be a new, impartial investigation. Mohammadi now informs us that this week Iran is hosting an International Conference on the Global Fight against Terrorism to get at the roots of the crisis.

Of course, Iran has its own reasons for delving into the issue, but the conference itself in our view is further evidence that when it comes to dominant social themes, the 21st century is nothing like the 20th. Unlike in the 20th century, the elites are having a great deal of difficulty controlling various kinds of thematic damages. The Internet Reformation is a continual process, not simply an episode that can be quickly counteracted.

Conclusion: We continue to believe, based on unfolding evidence, that our analysis is correct. The powers-that-be were caught off-guard by the Internet and the damage to their one-world promotions has likely already taken place. It is perhaps already too late to close the proverbial barn door.
