So how’s the Food Patriot Act working out so far?

Food Freedom
By Rady Ananda

Another armed food raid – this time on a company that provides nutritional supplements primarily for autism spectrum disorders and Alzheimer’s disease – another day under the Food Safety Modernization Act. As predicted, the FSMA is turning out to be a deliberate plan to wipe out small (under a million dollars a year in sales) and medium-sized (under $10 million a year) producers of natural, wholesome food and supplements. This is what happens when corporations run governments.

The concept of “food safety” in corpogov-speak is really just food fascism, according to Vandana Shiva:
“Risk Assessment in the hands of centralized corruptible agencies is no protection for consumers as the disease and health epidemic in the U.S. linked to over processed, industrial foods show. Even while the U.S. is at the epicenter of the food related public health crises, the U.S. government is trying to export its Food laws which deregulate the industry and over regulate ordinary citizens and small enterprise. This deregulation of the big and toxic and over regulation of the small and ecological is at the core of Food Fascism.” [emphasis added]
Small scale producers of meat, raw dairy and veggies, and dietary supplements are under continual attack by food giants who have placed their former employees in positions of power and authority.

Independent rancher Mike Callicrate recently told the Derry Brownfield Show that today’s industrial meat sector is worse than what Upton Sinclair described in The Jungle in 1906, from low wages and unsafe working conditions to animal cruelty and sick, adulterated food.

Reviewing the FMSA, genetically modified foods, and the HACCP inspection system, Callicrate had some particularly caustic comments on the U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance, which is putting “the family farmer’s face on industrial meat” thru a $30 million ad campaign. FARA really represents globalized, industrialized meat production, he said.

A new rule, “Test and Hold” ends fresh meat in the U.S., he also warned. Suppliers used to provide restaurants with meat that was slaughtered and ground a few hours earlier, the same day. Instead, they must now submit a sample of their meat to a lab where, in a few days, they’ll be advised if it’s safe to sell. Large industrial operations, which use meat glue to blend meat from different countries, send a sample from a million pounds of meat, giving them a huge competitive advantage over small producers who don’t glue their meat together. The meat they sell to restaurants and grocers, Callicrate advised, is two weeks old.
Here’s a news video on meat glue:

.
Colorado Congresswoman Diana DeGette took a particular tongue-lashing in that Derry Brownfield episode for her refusal to hear public concerns about genetically modified foods, imported foods, and the cost of the FSMA borne by producers.
We can’t help but be reminded of the horrendous armed raid on Rawesome Foods and its suppliers last year. ReasonTV put together a good summary of the issues:

.
Farmers and producers are encouraged to describe their experiences with the FSMA for our writers who plan to follow the reality of its implementation.
Commenting on the FSMA, one farmer already reported:
“HACCP ain’t the half of it.  Wisconsin Dept. of Ag held seminars the beginning of April to educate produce growers and packers as to what will be involved in inspections.  The supporters of locally grown have been co-opted by the new slogan ‘Buy local-Buy safely’ – that unless the produce is inspected, it isn’t safe. Although everyone thought that there would be time before on the ground implementation of the FSMA, it just isn’t going to be delayed.

“[We also got] information how bed and breakfast operations cannot as institutions use their own eggs because of salmonella concerns and must buy federally inspected eggs. Even though they can sell the eggs at the farmers markets, they can’t serve them to borders.  In light of the Iowa egg situation I don’t see the logic in this, but those behind this are not logical; they and their minions are just evil.”
Instead of closing down egg factories that sicken thousands, the government is shutting down wholesome supplement makers, small dairy and meat producers, and backyard chickens for small B&Bs.

The Care2 site has a petition to protest the raid on Maxam Nutraceutics, mentioned at top, which is being sent to the FDA and other federal agencies. (The quirky set-up requires you to hit the sign button on two different screens before it will register your signature.)

Those who still believe “good government” is possible after Citizens United v. FEC delude themselves. Abetted by government, multinational corporations plan to seize complete control of all food production. Yet, what they offer is killing us, and the planet.

Manufacturing Poor People

OpEdNews

By Vi Ransel

Even as the overall population of the world continues to increase, the increase in the number of poor people outstrips that growth.  How is this possible?  Are the poor simply fucking like rabbits, increasing their numbers geometrically in a suicidal, lemming-like production line of poverty-stricken people?  Or are they getting some outside aid in their catastrophic endeavor?

In just the past 50 years, the Rich People of the "First", or Western World have invested heavily, through their banks, industries and other corporations, in the poorest regions of the "Third" World in Africa, Asia and Latin America, home to the majority of the world's poor.  Transnational corporations are attracted by the richness of these people's natural resources, the richness of profits off cheap labor, the near total lack of environmental and worker safety regulations and the non-existent benefits for said labor.

U.S. transnationals were given a push toward this pregnant profit source, this attractive and waiting richness, by the U.S. government, which subsidizes (read gives taxpayers' money to) corporations in the form of tax breaks on foreign investment and even helping them to pay their relocation expenses at the expense of not only the taxpayers, but those taxpayers whose jobs are outsourced by this support for global U.S. economic dominance.

Local businesses in the "Third" World are destroyed as U.S. transnationals penetrate and overwhelm their markets like species imported to get rid of pests which turn out to be even bigger pests themselves.  Taxpayer-subsidized cartels of transnationals dump their cheap, surplus goods in these countries at below their own cost to undersell local producers, thus forcing them out of business and allowing the U.S. corporations to take over the market.  (This is also Wal-Mart's favorite technique for killing the competition in local markets right here in America.)

In the case of Big Ag they also take over/expropriate the best pieces of land, monocrop them with products for export, and douse them with oil-based, chemical fertilizers and toxic pesticides, destroying the soil.  Think Dust Bowl.  This leaves less land for use for those run-out-of-business farmers and their families to produce the food to feed the local population, who, along with the displaced farmers, are forced to go to work - for next to nothing - on those monocropped plantations to grow food that will be shipped out of the country or to work in American sub-contracted sweat shop factories.   This also forces them to buy what food they can afford from these same Big Ag corporations.  This is exactly the same scenario as in the U.S., since the bulk of the U.S. population consists of dependent consumers, unable to feed themselves, who must go to a supermarket to feed off the tit of Big Ag.

Robbing local people of self-sufficiency creates a perfect profit-making mechanism based on a labor market flooded with desperate people who can be herded into a neat, ready-to-use package, labor in a box, in slums and shanty towns which they will leave to slave for token, poverty wages - if they can find work - which are most often in violation of their own countries' minimum wage laws.  This is thanks to the overarching authority of Western-created "Free" Trade Agreements enforced by the World Trade Organization in its private, unaccountable courts.

Since the U.S. is one of the few pariah nations which refuses to sign the international convention for the abolishment of child labor and forced labor, Wal-Mart, Disney and J.C. Penny were able to pay eleven cents - 11 CENTS!!! - an hour in Haiti in 2007.  This allows these transnational corporations, not only in the "Third" World, but here in America, to have workers as young as 12 - TWELVE!!! - sustain high rates of fatalities and injuries while working for less than minimum wage.  Talk about your right to work!

The savings these transnationals - and their shareholders - are able to rack up by exploiting and further impoverishing the people of the "Third" World do not translate into lower prices for the consumers, e.g. people, of the "First", or Western World.  Oh no, my pretty!  Transnationals don't outsource to save their customers money.  They do it to increase their profits and their payouts to shareholders.  For instance, children in Indonesia in 1990 made shoes for thirteen cents an hour working a 12-hour day.  The shoes cost $2.60 to make.  They sold in the United States for $100.

In addition to this slick trick, any U.S. "aid" to these transnationals-impoverished countries comes with stainless steel strings attached.  Besides the "aid" money being used to create an infrastructure - ports, railroads, airports, highways, refineries, utilities, etc. - which facilitates the transnationals' ability to make money at the expense of local economies, this "aid" must most often be spent on U.S. goods, thus enriching even more U.S. corporations.

The country receiving "aid" must also give investment preference to even more U.S. corporations.  This causes a shift away from products produced locally and toward those imported from the West, creating more debt, dependency and hunger.  Further, a lot of this "aid" slips silently into the silken pockets of the local ruling class to buy their complicity and even enlist them in the enforcement of the ongoing heist.

Hand-in-hand with U.S. "aid" comes more "help" from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.  The financial contributions to those organizations by countries belonging to them determines the weight of their voting power.  Since the U.S. is the largest "donor", you can just guess the name of that tune.  And, of course, the IMF (International Mother Fuckers) works under a cloak of secrecy (to protect the confidentiality of the donors, dontcha know) enforced by the banks and the treasury organizations of the rich nations who run it.

The World Bank loans money to a poor country to "help" in its development, to build up a part of its economy.  "If", and almost certainly when (that's The Plan) the poor country is unable to pay the usurious interest on the loan becayse of declining exports (again, The Plan), the country has to borrow  more money in order to service the debt.  Enter the International Mother Fuckers.

The IMF extends more loans, with more of those stainless steel strings more tightly bound around the victim, er, I mean, loan recipient, trussing up the "benefiting" poor nation like a Thanksgiving turkey about to be devoured by the West, The Rich.  The country which borrows money from these Fuckers must give tax breaks to Western transnationals.  The country must slash wages and refuse to protect local businesses from being ravaged by cheap imports and corporate takeovers.

The country is further strong-armed to sell, at fire sale prices, all its government-owned mines, its railroads, industries and utilities to privately-owned, mostly-foreign corporations.  The country must allow its forests to be clearcut and its land to be strip-mined.  Money for education, healthcare, food assistance and the transportation infrastructure must be sheared back to service the debt.  And the interest on the debt, through the wondrously magical Western miracle of compound interest, keeps growing and growing and growing and growing and on and on and on and on...   And all the while, the people of the country are less able to feed themselves, since they are forced to grow cash crops for export to feed that debt service.

This is how the "Third" World is kept in poverty, subjugated to the "First" World, whose people purposefully, premeditatedly impoverish and immiserate the people of the "Third" World via depraved indifference in order to serve the plump, plutocratic pleasure of U.S. transnationals, their shareholders and American consumers.  This debt reaches a point where nearly ALL of a country's export earnings go to debt payment, squeezing the economy like a lemon, and the poverty-making snowballs.

And while critics of these "aid" programs, most often faux-progressives, point out that these programs just don't work for "those people", the people of the "Third" World's nations, these same programs continue to receive funding from their adherents precisely because they DO work, exactly as they were INTENDED to work, to transfer the rich resources of the poor in the "Third" World to the already wealthy people in the "First" World.  What an arrogant and ludicrous appellation is "First" World, self-designated by fatted, rich Western peoples to describe and denigrate the poor people of whom the scaffold supporting the American, and Western, standard of living is built.

This is how the magical, voodoo, trickle down economics of the Friedmans, the Reagans, the Volckers, the Greenspans, the Bushes, the Rockefellers, the Rothschilds, etc. who prosylitize "free" market theology works.   The people of the "Third" World are used as fertilizer to grow the fortunes of the people of the "First", or Western World.

They are used like toilet paper, like disposable plastic packaging, like prophylactics (scum bags) and then discarded as if their lives meant nothing more.  They are receptacles, vessels in which the rich "create" their "self-made" wealth - do their business - then casually flush these poor people - and their children - out of sight, down the polluted toilet the "First" World has made of our whole world.

Transnational corporations use the U.S. government and corporate lobbyist-written "free" trade policies, which are designed and work very well, to prevent "Third" World nations from ever "developing" sufficiently to become serious trade competitors.  And this is because U.S. corporations learned the lesson of the Marshall Plan very well.

After World War II, America's major trade competitors were flattened, economically as well as physically, and America, in all its beneficence and magnanimity, offered money to Europe and Japan so they could rebuild shattered industries and infrastructure by using this "aid" money to purchase American goods and services, profiting hugely in the process.  And while Europe and Japan were rebuilding, the U.S. was busy establishing itself as the world's global economic and military behemoth.  Following Word War II, and up to the mid-Seventies, the United States experienced the most prosperous period, overall, in its history.  And then things began to go south, as former flattened economic competitors began to recover enough to give the behemoth a run for its money, and actually overtaking the once supremely, economically dominant USA.

Well, U.S. transnationals didn't intend to ever let that happen again.  There would be no more giving a real leg up to potential competitors.  And thus we arrived at where we are today.  And, in fact, the ruse works so well, that since the Seventies the plutocracy has been using the very same template here at home, - with an increasingly heavy hand.  See U.S. auto workers, healthcare, the bank bailout, foreclosed homes, 600,00 jobs a month jettisoned, the murder of California, et al.  Who, or what, will be next?

33 Ways to Encourage Atlas to Shrug

Photobucket

SurvivalBlog.com

Ayn Rand's 1957 novel "Atlas Shrugged" is enjoying renewed popularity following the release of the new Atlas Shrugged movie. Rand's story describes a group of American industrialists that lose patience with onerous regulation and taxation, and "shrug"--disappearing from their normal lives to relocate to a hidden valley called Galt's Gulch. While this tale is fictional, it has some strong parallels to modern-day America. And despite the fact that Ayn Rand was an atheist and favored legalized abortion, she was a good judge of both character and the inevitable tendencies of elected governments. When I consider the regulatory and tax burdens that have been implemented in my lifetime--I was born in 1960--I believe that Rand had amazing prescience. Let's face it: We no longer live in a free market capitalist nation. At best, it could called a "mixed" economy with statist tendencies, and verging on socialism.

Reading the news headlines in recent months has led me to believe that the Galt's Gulch concept has a lot of merit. If The Powers That Be wanted to encourage the Atlases of the world to shrug, they couldn't have done a better job. What is the best way to get the most productive Citizens of our nation to go on strike, and retreat to "gulches"? Consider the following "to do" list for those whom Ayn Rand called "The Destroyers":
  1. Remove the homeowner's mortgage interest tax deduction. Yes, they're pushing for it.
  2. Reinstate the Federal estate tax and pre-Bush Administration income tax levels. They want to impose the old tax rates on anyone with an income of $250,000. Oh, and the CBO's budget predictions are all using the assumption that the 2001 tax cuts are reverted. Is this wishful thinking (to make the increases in the Federal debt not look quite so bad), or a fait accompli?
  3. Nationalize IRAs and 401(k)s. Yes, its under discussion.
  4. Increase taxes for unemployment-insurance funds. This is already in progress.
  5. Drag out approval of new mining operations with endless Environmental Impact studies. They're already doing it.
  6. Inflate the currency to rob those who save money--a hidden form of taxation. Standard practice for 40 years.
  7. Drag out approval of newly-developed medicines. Now the status quo.
  8. Push up the rates for "sin" taxes on tobacco, alcohol, and other items. Already implemented in 2010.
  9. Increase the Minimum Wage. Several states have done so, but even worse yet, some unions are pushing for more socialist "Living Wage" laws
  10. Raise import tariffs. Each new tariff causes problems. Didn't they ever hear Ben Stein's high school Economics lecture on the Hawley-Smoot Tariff Act? (OBTW, Ben Stein is now warning about an economic collapse.)
  11. Increase the tax paperwork burden by requiring "1099-MISC" reporting of all cash transactions over $600. (Attempted, but thankfully set aside for the time being.)
  12. Increase the cost of doing business through mandatory insurance. (The "labor burden" for an employee with a nominal salary of $17 per hour ($35,360 gross, annually) is an additional $20,029 per year.) Workman's compensation, in particular, is getting painfully expensive.
  13. Increase sales taxes. Several states have increased sales taxes, since 2009.
  14. Increase property taxes, as home values decline. Many counties have hiked their tax rates.
  15. Continue to increase the size of the government (and its debts). The Federal debt increases are looking inexorable.
  16. Push for increased mandatory employer-paid benefits for company employees like mandatory health insurance for part-time employees and European-style long term parental leave. Also, push toward excluding companies from government contracts unless they have expanded health care coverage.
  17. Mandate payment of state sales taxes on out-of-state purchases for Internet and mail orders. Yes, they're still pushing for these taxes, and for regulation of the entire Internet.
  18. Create a pervasive Nanny State mentality. For example: penalize companies and consumers for high trans-fat foods, and alcoholic beverages that taste too good.
  19. Sue the makers of guns that actually work just as they were designed. (At least a partial law shield law was enacted, in 2005.)
  20. Use taxpayer funds to destroy classic cars that are in running condition, while subsidizing hybrid cars that use batteries that will pollute landfills for centuries.
  21. Over-regulate small firms out of business. Dry cleaners are a prime example.
  22. Fine farmers and ranchers for using traditional practices.
  23. Create a European-style Value Added Tax (VAT). Yes, they're still pushing for it.
  24. Legislate expansion of company-paid health insurance to cover everything from same sex "domestic partners" and autism to sex change operations.
  25. Lobby for mandating that companies pay for three weeks of paid vacation per year for all employees.
  26. Institute dozens of unfunded mandates from the Federal level, that must be compensated for with higher state, county, and local taxes.
  27. Increase license, permit, and vehicle registration fees. In progress. Meanwhile, institute "temporary" tax increases. These surtaxes on income, sales, or real property are described as "temporary." (But don't be surprised if they are not repealed.)
  28. Providing free education to illegal immigrants while levying taxes on home schooling families for services that they don't use.
  29. Make it illegal for owners to protect their livestock from predators.
  30. Remove the salary cap on Social Security tax "contributions". The liberal think tanks are pushing for it.
  31. Encourage a litigious society where huge lawsuits are filed over trifles, and where the makers of products can be sued even if product buyers intentionally misuse products.
  32. Implement carbon taxes and credits. Still in early stages of implementation.
  33. And lastly, the big one: Implement socialized medicine. Despite a strong public outcry, it is now Federal law. But thankfully there is a push to rescind part or all of it.
The shrugging and gulching has already begun...
Reading the foregoing might have you inspired to find your own Galt's Gulch. Although I admit a personal bias, one practical option that I can suggest is the American Redoubt. (I'm the originator of the plan.) The Redoubt region is inside of the continental United States, so moving there is much more realistic than moving offshore--at least for most of us.
Many folks are now ready to vote with their feet. Atlas is starting to shrug.

“Oh What a Lovely War on Humanity We’re Serving Up!… Pass the Bollinger Whilst I Get the Servants to Throw the Leftovers to the Peasants”

HAPPY EARTH DAY PEASANTS!

The Sovereign Independent

By Neil Foster – The Sovereign Independent -

At a recent event, the Hungarian government held a lavish dinner for European Ministers with responsibility for Demography and Family policy; that’s the study of Human Population and Family Policy to you and me.

I don’t know about you but it sounds like the combination of human population with family policy would hint at a correlation between the two which apparently needs EU intervention to control the size of the family. I wonder if they’ll decide that it should be left up to the individuals concerned, namely potential mothers and fathers or will they, the EU Ministers, those faceless bureaucrats you’ll never meet or have the opportunity to voice your concerns to will decide on the optimum number of offspring you may be deemed fit to bring into the world which these same pigs, with their snouts in the European Trough, will lead you to believe is overcrowded with masses of unwashed and ever so disagreeable poor folks?

They will also lead us to believe that the world resources are finite and should be kept, I will presume, for those fine people who’ll make sure their snouts are kept eternally well stuffed with the finer things in life for as long as they’ll do the bidding of those whose policies they’ll implement in their respective jurisdictions at the behest of the same powerful elite whose sole aim is to depopulate the planet to a more ‘controllable’ level so that the peasants are no longer able to rise up ‘en masse’ to bring their whole stinking, corrupt, eugenical system to its rightful end.

However, it appears that these so called ‘Ministers’ don’t have to wait until they end their terms in office to sample the decadence of fine food and wine to keep the saliva glands in their snouts perpetually dripping with anticipation of fine dinners accompanied by the finest wines.

You can salivate over the meals these parasites enjoy by looking at the menu for their latest extravagance in the Hungarian capital, Budapest while you tuck into your regular, barely affordable, processed junk food.
http://www.eu2011.hu/news/dinner-ministers-responsible-demography

You see folks, there no question of unsustainability when it comes to these guys. Oh no, nothing but the best for them whilst they preach ‘austerity’ for us all with more promised as their Ministerial colleagues in finance, attending similar lavish functions, decide on what levels of poverty they wish to plunge you into next as the canapé tray is passed around again.

These are the same megalomaniacs who’ll tell us, through Ministerial ‘Climate Change’ gospels that meat and thus farming is unsustainable.

http://www.greenleft.org.au/node/10388

Apparently we all have to go vegetarian to ‘save the planet’ whilst they stuff their swelling gullets with speciality ham, goose liver consommé and racks of lamb, all of which I’m sure are organically supplied at huge expense, not to them, but to us, the mugs that pay for all of it.

And let’s not forget the entertainment supplied by an ‘ensemble’ we’re informed, again paid by the gullible taxpayer who can’t see the bigger picture of decadent debauchery these hypocritical leeches partake in on a daily basis whilst we suffer the consequences of their illegitimate actions. I wonder if that includes their after dinner entertainment too? You know the kind I mean so no need to elaborate on that.

After reading through the contents of the menu, which is only one of many which these political puppets have laid in front of them throughout their tenure, you should be outraged because whilst you’re barely scratching a living and having to bargain hunt around your local Tesco to feed your family, you’re paying for all of their disgustingly unsustainable lifestyles.

This is exactly as things were in the old style Soviet Union. What we see happening on a daily basis in the Super-state that is the EuSSR is simply an upgraded and more debauched version of that corrupt system.

Enjoy your pie and mash folks because if these criminals have their way you might only be allowed the mash in future. But I suppose every cloud has a silver lining. You won’t be allowed to have a family either so you’ll have less mouths to feed I guess!

A Guide for the Herbal Medicine Closet

SurvivalBlog.com
Photobucket

So you stock up on a year’s supply of medications. What then? There comes a tremendous sense of confidence when you know how to find and grow your own “medicines”. I have to begin with my very favorite herb and actually most common “weed”; though, weed is a dirty word in my vocabulary! You will find that most of the plants we consider nuisances are some of the most beneficial herbs for healing. This article has an emphasis on herbs for respiratory ailments.

Herbs You Can Find Growing Wild:
Plantain can be found virtually anywhere in the United States and every continent except Antarctica. And no, I’m not talking about the banana. Over 200 varieties and all equally potent. Long-leaf is the most common in the US. Plantain is a powerful astringent. Used by our ancient ancestors to heal--the bites of mad dogs, staph infection, snake bites and venomous creatures, bee stings, abscesses, boils, congestion in the lungs, the list goes on forever! We had what we believed to be an breakout of methicillin-resistant staph (MRSA) over a year ago, and using only plantain (external and internal), tea tree oil (external), and clove (internal) we were able to completely eradicate it! NO antibiotics, NO topical creams….and not a single breakout since. I would never want to be without plantain! Can also be used for earaches, and has been said to restore quite decayed hearing when it’s infusion is placed into the ears.
It’s Uses: expectorant, astringent, demulcent, anti-inflammatory, anodyne, styptic, diuretic, the list goes on.
How to use it: Direct Poultice: If you’re outside and you get stung by a bee, spider, snake, anything you want to pull the venom out immediately, grab a few leaves (it usually grows anywhere, though you may have to walk around a while to find it) chew them up in your mouth until they are nice and juicy J and then place on the area you want to draw the poison out of. You will be amazed at how quickly this helps with pain!! I am highly allergic to bees, and every year somehow I get stung. If I apply plantain asap, usually there is very minimal swelling, and very little pain.
Infusion: You have a chest cold and you need help getting rid of lung congestion. Gather a large handful of leaves and pour boiling water over. Let sit at least 30 minutes…the longer the better. Drain the liquid-this is what you drink. Sweeten if you need to. It also helps with lung congestion to make a poultice from the leaves and place on your chest for as long as you can bear to leave it on.
Tincture: Winter is coming and you want to store some plantain in your cupboard for that upcoming cold/infection. Of course you can dry the leaves if you want. However, a tincture is much more potent. Fill an entire mason jar full of the leaves, seeds, roots, and pour vodka until they are completely covered. Let macerate for 5 weeks, shaking the jar once a day, and keeping it out of sunlight in a cool place. Drain liquid out. For just external uses you can do the same thing with olive oil. And if you don’t want to use alcohol, you can substitute it for apple cider vinegar.

Elderberry can be found throughout North America. It prefers moist ground, so you will usually find it alongside creeks, rivers, and streams. An infusion made from the berries is an excellent remedy for cold and flu season. An infusion made from the flowers is a wonderful eyewash for conjunctivitis. Elderberry is absolutely wonderful for the respiratory system! A powerful immune-booster. Every time I feel a cold coming on I go straight to elderberry tea! Typically within a few hours I feel myself again!
It’s Uses: Leaves: emollient, vulnerary (topically), strong purgative, expectorant, diuretic, diaphoretic. Flowers: diaphoretic, anti-catarrhal, anti-spasmodic, anti-inflammatory.
Berries: Diaphoretic, immune-building, laxative, anti-rheumatic.
How to use it: Syrup: Place around 5 oz. Fresh berries, or 3-4 oz. dried berries in a mason jar, cover with boiling water. Allow to sit over-night. Drain out the liquid, and reheat slightly. Add about ½ c honey. Now you have your infusion. If you have it I add about 15 drops of grapefruit seed extract (GSE). It adds many benefits in aiding your immune system as well as preserving your infusion longer. Adults take 1-2 tablespoons every few hours, children around 2 tsp. Store in your refrigerator. Will last at least a month.

Honeysuckle If you can’t find  Elderberry near you, or the birds get to the berries before you can,  Honeysuckle can work quite nicely as a substitute. The flowers are traditionally used for bacterial dysentery, urinary disorders, eliminating toxins from the body, colds, fevers, flu, asthma, coughs, chest congestion, and laryngitis. It can be used as an external wash for boils, infected wounds, swelling, scabies, tumors, and rheumatism. The flowers have components that help to lower blood cholesterol, as well as being anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-tuberculostatic.
How to use it: You can make a tea from the flowers. The berries, however, are toxic. So stay away from those. The leaves are fine as well, however the flowers are much more potent.
Tincture: Fill a mason jar with flowers, cover with brandy. Shake once a day, keeping in a cool, dark place, for around 5-6 weeks. Strain though a cheesecloth or a T-shirt, and you can add (but not necessary) 10-15 drops of GSE.
Syrup: The same way as the elderberry syrup, only fill the entire jar with flowers.

Mullein Is another of my favorites. It grows throughout the Northern tier and Eastern half of the United States. It is a strong, self-sowing biennial. You will find it particularly on road sides (though I wouldn’t gather mine here), waste grounds, pasture fences; it typically grows in poor soils, and even sandy soils. The leaves  are used for asthma, allergies, bronchitis,  coughs, croup, pulmonary diseases, mild sedative, antihistamine, swelling, pain, and the list goes on. The seeds  rapidly pass through the intestines and have been used successfully in intestinal obstructions. However, some say that with repeated use they can be toxic. They have a pretty strong narcotic effect as well. Dr. Christopher states that it is the “only herb known to man that has remarkable narcotic properties without being poisonous or harmful. Great painkiller and nervous soporific, calming and quieting all inflamed and irritated tissues.” They are also used in asthma and infantile convulsions. The Flowers are excellent for earaches and ear infections.

How to use it: Poultice from the leaves. Tear a few leaves pretty finely, pour just enough hot water to barely wet. When it cools enough to touch, apply to affected area.
Tea: Put one or two leaves in hot water and allow to steep for around 20 minutes. Remove the leaves, and sweeten if you need to.
Infusion: Gather the flowers every day (there will be new buds each day) and place in olive oil. Place in a warm spot, but not to where the sunlight is hitting it directly. What I do is place it either in the sun under a cardboard box, or in my car under a blanket or cardboard box. Shake daily and allow to infuse for about 3-4 weeks. Strain though a cheesecloth or old T-shirt. This is what you use for ear infections. Works like a charm!

Preserve the leaves by allowing to dry. Just KEEP THEM OUT OF SUNLIGHT. I cannot emphasize this enough. It applies to all herbs, and it is very important because the sun creates oxidation, which eventually leeches out all the minerals and nutrients in the herb.
For identification, go here.

Red Clover is absolutely powerful. It relaxes the nerves, and the entire nervous system. Can be used as a sedative. It has also been used quite successfully to fight cancer. It is a marvelous preventative for health problems, and a great wash for sores. It is especially good for pertussis (whooping cough), and it can be drunk freely. It is also wonderful externally for burns, sore, athlete’s foot, and ulcers. An anti-spasmodic and expectorant, also good for asthma.
How to use it: Tea: made from the blossoms. Place 4-5 blossoms in a cup of hot water. Steep for 20 minutes. Sweeten if desired.
Tincture: Fill a mason jar with only the blossoms (the other parts are not harmful, however, it is the blossoms that are the most potent), cover with vodka. Let sit in cool, dark spot for 4-6 weeks, shaking daily. Strain through cheesecloth or old T-shirt.
Preserve the flowers by drying.
For identification, go here.

Blackberry Is known to prevent fluid loss during dysentery. It is also well known for stopping gastric bleeding. Regular consumption of the berries (can make a tincture) can aid in killing off the free radicals that are linked with the development or heart disease and cancer. However, the leaves and roots are wonderful too! Absolutely wonderful for colds and flu. It is also used for fever, arthritis, gout, pain, and infections.
It’s Uses: Astringent, tonic, alterative, anti-emetic, hemostatic, anti-abortive, parturient (leaves).
How to use it: Tea from the leaves and woody part of the bramble is wonderful for diarrhea. Tea from the berries is wonderful for colds and flus.
Leaf Tincture: Fill jar with leaves and roots, cover with either cider vinegar or vodka. Process goes as all other tinctures. Used for fever, arthritis, gout, and diarrhea. Used topically for pain. 1 tsp./hour until fever drops.
Berry Tincture: Same as above, only with berries instead of leaves and roots. Used for colds, flu, and infections.
Herbs You Should Grow at Home: Not that you shouldn’t be trying to grow any of the others. Red Clover, for example is an easy, important herb that you can and should be growing now. It’s in the other list, however, because it can easily be found in the wild.

Oregano is used for coughs and colds, degenerative arthritis, rheumatism, upset stomach, urinary tract infections, sore throats, infections, fever, vomiting, jaundice, and asthma attacks. It is an antiseptic, antiviral, and anti-microbial. Strong anti-oxidant.
How to use it: Tincture made from the leaves for coughs, rheumatism, bronchitis, asthma, infections, and sore throat.
Tea  3 cups of boiling water over 1 cup fresh leaves (or half cup dried leaves), steep 20 minutes. Take ½ cup three times a day.
Infusion Made with olive oil from the leaves is a powerful antiseptic externally.

Lobelia is probably the most vital plant that you should be growing. Especially if you or your child, or someone you know, has asthma. I have asthma and this is what I rely on for TEOTWAWKI. Inhalers will be hard to come by, and I know what a down hill slide asthma can be when you have nothing to treat it. Lobelia can be balanced by taking it with cayenne.
It’s Uses: Anti-asthmatic, anti-spasmodic, expectorant, emetic, bronchodilator, nervine (a Stimulant, in small doses, but a Relaxant, in large doses), diaphoretic, diuretic, cathartic, and astringent.
How to use it: Tincture: Fill jar with herb, and cover with apple cider vinegar. Lobelia’s components work the absolute best with apple cider vinegar. It is important that you don’t allow it to get too warm, either. The structure of lobelia is lost when it is heated even slightly, so take care. It only needs to macerate for two weeks.
The tincture can be used for such a wide variety of ailments. Such as asthma, croup, infections, boils, sedative, lockjaw, ringworm, hepatitis, and convulsions. It is excellent for convulsions. Can be rubbed on the body or placed in the mouth and the body will absorb it quickly, relieving convulsions. Rubbing the tincture on the shoulders of a restless child is wonderful for helping him calm down and go to sleep. It also helps to rub on the gums of a teething baby. Especially good for croup and respiratory ailments.
Preserve through drying.
JWR Adds: Be adviswed that Lobelia is poisonous in high doses.

Comfrey I would not want to be without this marvelous herb! A powerful allantoin and traditional healer. About a year and a half ago I had a complete humeral spiral fracture. Needless to say it was extremely painful, and I had been told that it would take at least 10-12 weeks for it to heal enough to have moderate use out of it. Everything I read, most sufferers from this break never had 100% use of their arm even after two years of healing and therapy. Not to mention the lingering pain they had on cold or wet days. After 1 week of healing I was able to begin applying comfrey poultices to the break (I had a removable cast). After only seven weeks I was able to remove the brace that supported my arm, and I had no pain! I didn’t even do physical therapy (other than daily push-ups in my workout regime). My arm is now stronger than it ever was, and I have no pain from it whatsoever!
It’s Uses: Mucilaginous, vulnerary, demulcent, anti-inflammatory, anti-psoriatic, astringent, expectorant, anti-tumor, cell proliferant, nutritive, and hemostatic. Amazing healer.
How to use it: Poultice made from the leaves applied to cleaned wound. Will heal extremely quickly. Even better if combined with plantain. The plantain removes the toxins, while comfrey heals.
Neither of the lists is by any means exhaustive. There are so many herbs I would love to write about, but these are some of the top of my list.
Remember, when dealing with herbs, you are being your own doctor, so be sure to:
  1. Do the requisite research.
  2. Identify the plants with absolute certainty.
  3. Label tinctures clearly with ingredients and dates prepared.

GETTING OFF THE GLOBALIST CHESSBOARD: AN INTRODUCTION

Neithercorp Press

By Stewart Rhodes of Oath Keepers
and Brandon Smith of the Alternative Market Project

To put it simply, America is nearing a checkmate scenario. Like the final torrid maneuvers of a rigged chess match, we have been pressed, manipulated, and attacked into the last remaining corner of the “grand global chessboard” left to us; centralized control of all social and economic power into the hands of an unworthy elite. If we continue playing the game by their rules, we will lose. There is no doubt. There have been many solutions presented to us in the past to combat this development, but nearly all of them function within the constraints of Federal politics. Working within the system has earned us no quarter, and frankly, no results. Our only recourse (and, frankly, the best recourse all along) is to STOP relying on the rules of their game, and to walk away from the chess board completely.

Globalization is essentially just another word for centralization, and the key to centralizing any system is to remove all options until the masses are completely and utterly dependent upon a single dominant paradigm. Globalists have deceived many Americans into believing that centralization is a “natural” process – that their game is indeed the only one in town. The widespread acceptance of the fiat monetary system is a perfect example of the average person’s unfortunate lack of economic flexibility. Only recently, in the face of dollar devaluation and complete financial collapse have many finally begun to question the legitimacy of a single brittle and corrupt economic structure. American politics are no different.

The elites have conned us into thinking that the only possible “solution” to where we are is federal elections, which only vote in new puppets for the puppet masters to manipulate in an illusory shell game. We have been tricked into thinking we are free because we come together from time to time to select our rulers.

But of course, this country was not founded as a democracy, but as a Constitutional Republic, and in such a Republic as ours, liberty is not just about “kicking the bums out” every few years only to vote a new set of bums into Congress, as the globalists would have us think. Federal elections are just one small part of it. The Founders intended us to be active, sovereign citizens, in strong communities and strong, sovereign states, and that is about far, far more than merely voting.

But because the globalists – with the aid of complicit domestic counterparts – have been able to capture our education system, our media, our political system, and our legal system, they have succeeded in dumbing us down and duping us into thinking that all other mechanisms for constraining power have been removed from the table. In fact, we have been convinced that all of the other fundamental institutions of our republic– aside from voting – are illegitimate, or even criminal.

The Founders gave us a dual sovereignty republic. That means states are as much sovereign within their sphere as the national government is within its sphere, with a national government of limited, enumerated, and divided powers. As our Tenth Amendment makes clear, “[t]he powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

In Federalist 45, James Madison (widely considered the ‘father of the Constitution”) promised the American people that:
The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government, are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected. The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State.

Clearly the design of the Founders’ has been turned on its head. With the aid of complicit judges – which Thomas Jefferson called a “corps of sappers and miners” – who willfully misinterpret the Commerce Clause to grant Congress the power to regulate literally anything, we now have a ruling class who will admit of no restraints on national power with a national government of nearly unlimited de facto powers, grown like a metastasizing cancer far beyond the bounds of anything foreseen by even the most skeptical of Anti-Federalists from the Founding era. All actual, physical and structural powers of any real meaning – legislative, military, legal, law enforcement, and economic – are consolidated in the hands of the federal government. On top of this, they have grafted a hydra-like overlay of international law and international unelected agencies and untouchable international “officials” that are also being imposed up us by means of treaties, executive partnerships (such as the supposedly now defunct Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, now being revitalized by the Obama Administration) and other constitutionally dubious mechanisms.

While we are distracted with elections, they are planning the destruction of the dollar, the collapse of our economy, the final destruction of our sovereignty, and the total absorption of our entire system into the vapid body of an unaccountable global government.

This is why we must stop playing by their “rules,” must get off of their artificial chess board, and instead play by the rules of our Constitution. This means taking power into our own hands as individuals, communities, counties, and states.
To do this, Neithercorp Press, the Alternative Market Project, and Oath Keepers are working together to focus on concrete solutions that can be applied by the average American in their day-to-day lives, in both the private and public spheres. In the limited time we have left, we urge Americans to focus on the following four key strategies (arranged in order of priority of needs):

1. Food and fuel independence and security – and other essential infrastructure (general preparedness) – as individuals, within local veterans organization chapters, neighborhood mutual aid societies, churches, co-ops, farmers markets, and at the town, county and state levels). In the aftermath of an economic collapse, food is the hardest necessity to improvise, and food scarcity is a serious achiles heel, exploited by oppressive regimes throughout history. To get started on food storage and independence, follow the advice on providentliving.org (you don’t need to be LDS to learn from their experience in food storage and preparedness, or to use their canneries). Likewise, we will need fuel, emergency medical, and resilient communication that can function in a grid-down crisis, devoid of internet communication (or with the internet shut down intentionally by means of a kill-switch).

2. Physical security and Independence – again as individuals, neighborhoods, towns, counties and states, to include forming neighborhood watches, mutual aid associations, a volunteer sheriff’s posse (staffed by volunteers under direct command of the sheriff), and county militias established by county ordinances but staffed by self-supplied and self-funded volunteers (as is done in volunteer fire departments all over this nation), and ultimately, a true state militia capable of “repelling invasions” (using the research and model bills of Dr. Edwin Vieira). Americans have plenty of guns, but not enough organization. See operationsleepinggiant.org for details.

3. Economic security and independence – as individuals and communities, including barter networks, use of silver and gold as real money, the development of valuable trade skills, and sound money bills at the county and state levels (as Utah just passed into law). The localization of community commerce is the only sure way to counter globalization. The more independent and insulated cities and states are from the corrupt and dysfunctional mainstream economy, the more safe and secure they will find themselves when that economy implodes. We must have an alternative to the fiat money system in place to preempt such an event. See alt-market.com for details.

4. State sovereignty and nullification of unconstitutional federal laws and actions. Veterans must support only sheriffs, state legislators and governors who have the guts and integrity to keep their oaths. To vote for an oath breaker, is to become an oath breaker. We must defend the powers reserved to the states and to the people by supporting state sovereignty resolutions and nullification of unconstitutional laws. See tenthamendmentcenter.com. And eventually we must kick the bums out, as GOOOH recommends. See goooh.com.

We will soon be publishing an upcoming series of articles that will provide in-depth details on each of the above four key pillars of action. While we should not turn our backs on the tactics of educating the public, supporting constitutional legislation, voting for honest and principled representatives, or nullifying unconstitutional laws (we should certainly make full use of the soap box, the ballot box, and the jury box) it is now time to dedicate ourselves to much more. The very future of our country, our liberties, and the prosperity of the next generation depends upon this.

For the Republic,
Stewart Rhodes

You-Genics

Sovereign Independent

By Matthew Archibald
www.ncregister.com

This week, Congress fought a battle over eugenics. Make no mistake. That’s what it was about.

You might not know it because you see, the stupid Nazis almost ruined all the eugenics fun for everyone. But it turned out that they only just tarnished the name “eugenics.” Its advocacy and practice continues. With government funding.

This week the great SBA List put out an ad showing the history of eugenics behind Planned Parenthood with all those sweet quotes from Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger including the oldie but a goody, “the most merciful thing a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.”

But eugenics ain’t just history. Richard Dawkins spelled it out clearly, bemoaning that stupid Hitler for giving a bad name to eugenics.

“IN THE 1920s and 1930s, scientists from both the political left and right would not have found the idea of designer babies particularly dangerous – though of course they would not have used that phrase. Today, I suspect that the idea is too dangerous for comfortable discussion, and my conjecture is that Adolf Hitler is responsible for the change.

Nobody wants to be caught agreeing with that monster, even in a single particular. The spectre of Hitler has led some scientists to stray from “ought” to “is” and deny that breeding for human qualities is even possible. But if you can breed cattle for milk yield, horses for running speed, and dogs for herding skill, why on Earth should it be impossible to breed humans for mathematical, musical or athletic ability?

You see, while advocating eugenics, its supporters seem to feel icky about it. Washington Post’s Ezra Klein would seem to agree that perhaps culling the poor might be a swell idea but he caveats it a bit. He wrote just this week, concerning the fight to defund Planned Parenthood:

The fight also isn’t about cutting spending. The services Planned Parenthood provides save the federal government a lot of money. It’s somewhat cold to put it in these terms, but taxpayers end up bearing a lot of the expense for unintended pregnancies among people without the means to care for their children.
Somewhat cold? Yeah. Somewhat.

What Ezra Klein is saying is that we shouldn’t worry about killing the unborn because they’re just the POOR unborn, right? And since we know that abortion effects a high percentage of African Americans, isn’t Ezra Klein really saying that abortion doesn’t matter because it just kills poor black babies?
These kind of quotes are not an anomaly. Remember Supreme Court Justice Ruth Vader Ginsburg’s comment from just two years ago.

“Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of.”

Nobody in the media ever pressed her for elaboration as to who those folks are that we don’t want to have too many of. Why? Because they know who she meant.
Nancy Pelosi equated family planning services with an economic stimulus. She said, “contraception will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government.”

Pro-aborts are constantly attempting to spotlight the happy side of abortion. Remember the theory floated that legalized abortion contributed significantly to recent crime reductions. That turned out to be a complete lie but it’s still brought up as a fact.

And then you get the backslapping of how abortion has cut down on the suffering of imperfect babies because it doesn’t allow those imperfect babies to suffer through their imperfect lives. Sweet of them, isn’t it?

Bishop Peter Elliot said earlier this year that the “warped practice of eugenics is rising from its Nazi tomb.” I’m thinking it was never there. It just changed its name. It now goes by family planning, overpopulation, and environmentalism. It’s got other names too but that’s what the fight over defunding Planned Parenthood was about. It still is. Once you say that life isn’t priceless, it’s all just haggling over the price.

A Day In The Life Of A “Homegrown Terrorist”

Neithercorp Press

By Giordano Bruno
Neithercorp Press – 4/8/2011

There was a time when having one’s name listed in the despised ranks of those villains that governments often categorize as “terrorists” involved quite a bit of leg work, as well as an ominous running resume of death, destruction, and general mean spiritedness. Of course, if one examines the history of every modern country which eventually disintegrated into despotism, the definition of who the “enemy” is tends to become rather broad rather quickly. That is to say, the more criminal the leadership of a country becomes, the easier it is for the average person to find himself labeled a criminal by that same leadership.

Today, one does not need to blow up buildings, take hostages in political motivation, send anthrax through the mail, or even wave a gun around in a public place to be considered a terrorist threat. In fact, a man could never leave his house and still find himself under suspicion as an enemy of the state. The Department of Homeland Security has released numerous standardized guidelines to law enforcement offices across the country which are meant to make it “easier” for police and others to identify a possible terrorist. If you were to take at face value such documents as the now famous MIAC Report, the Virginia Fusion Center Report, the DHS’ “see something, say something” campaign, the Enemy Belligerents Act, the post trial statements of the Department Of Justice in the Liberty Dollar case, or the wild spewing rhetoric of establishment mouthpiece organizations like the SPLC, then you would discover that a likely terrorist is:

Anyone who talks frequently about the Constitution, or ill of the government
Anyone who supports the idea of a Constitutional Militia
Anyone who fights against anti-gun legislation, or owns many guns (man do we LOVE guns)
Anyone who supports state sovereignty and 10th Amendment issues
Anyone who supports Ron Paul (the ultimate sin according to the SPLC)
Anyone who believes the private Federal Reserve is destroying our economy
Anyone who talks about the “New World Order”, or global government (does this include men like George Soros, Joseph Biden, Gordon Brown, Henry Kissinger, George Bush, Bill Clinton, Strobe Talbot, George McGovern, Mikhail Gorbachev, Richard Nixon, etc.?)
Anyone who discusses economic collapse as a reality in the U.S.
Anyone who speaks out against the IRS
Anyone who participates in “Hacktivism” (including those who leak documents embarrassing to government)
Anyone who participates in any form of activist group
Anyone who argues that the Left/Right political paradigm is a scam
Anyone who promotes Anarchist views
Anyone who distrusts FEMA (as if Katrina did not give us ample reasons)
Anyone who believes a truly independent investigation of 9/11 is rational and called for
Anyone who home schools their children
Anyone who flies a Gadsden Flag
Anyone who stores survival goods and food
Anyone who uses shortwave radios or HAMs
Anyone who watches movies like ‘Freedom to Fascism’, with anti-Fed messages
Anyone who operates private barter and trade networks
Anyone who stores gold and silver or uses them as an alternative to the dollar
Basically, ANYONE who dissents through independent political organization or protests through non-participation in the corrupt system might as well be Al Qaeda…

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_liberty_dollars_raid

I could go on for pages with this stuff, but I think you get the picture. In a world where refusing a naked body scan at the airport earns you intimidation and a demeaningly thorough pat down, it is clear that now wherever we go we are all considered “suspects”. Why would I turn down a naked body scan, one might ask?

Well obviously because I have something to hide; namely my genitalia from the prying eyes of the TSA. To be frank, my privacy and the privacy of all Americans is more important than your safety. Get over it.

America is moving closer to financial derailment, and with that kind of destabilization often follows the escalation of what we call the “police state”; a governmental framework that is designed specifically to protect the longevity of the core system that created the disaster in the first place, remove civil liberties one bite at a time while demonizing any person who dares to question the necessity of the system, and institute new social dynamics meant to acclimate the public to the loss of the freedom and prosperity they once enjoyed. That is, to condition them to accept the loss as “inevitable” and for the “greater good”.

Most unsettling but absolutely predictable has been the recent tapping of the SPLC and ever present establishment front man Mark Potok as the on camera media hit squad against organizations like Liberty Dollar, and anyone else attempting to promote alternative methods of currency and commerce outside of the corporately controlled economy. U.S. Attorney Anne Tompkins’ post trial statement in the case against von NotHaus that “Attempts to undermine the legitimate currency of this country are simply a unique form of domestic terrorism” was just the beginning. Potok has now come forward stating:

“He (von NotHaus) is playing on a core idea of the radical right, that evil bankers in the Federal Reserve are ripping you off by controlling the money supply,” said Mark Potok, spokesman for the group. “He very much exists in the world of the anti-government patriot movement, whatever he may say. That’s who his customers are.”
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_liberty_dollars_raid

Here’s what I love about Mark Potok; his ability to vomit unsupported accusations and make absurdly false associations all while making the absolute truth sound “absurd” to the useful idiots out there in TV land. First off, how does Potok define the “radical right”? It sounds scary, but what does it mean? Who gets to decide what the radical right is? The SPLC? Is a right wing radical or extremist anyone who just happens to disagree with Mark Potok’s world view, or the global elitist vision of the future? Potok routinely haunts the transmissions of MSM networks to squat on our television screens and unleash a putrid torrent of Ad hominem attacks without ever having to actually qualify what he says. It truly is awe inspiring.

His style of propaganda comes from a long tradition of Alinsky-esque dishonesty in debate. When the SPLC argues a point, their goal is not to get to the truth of a matter, or to explore the complexity of an issue, it is to oversimplify the issues, to ridicule the opposition and taint their image in the minds of audiences before the audience ever gets a chance to hear the other side of the story. How often does Potok utter phrases like “radical”, “extremist”, “terrorist”, “white supremacist”, or hot button names like “Timothy McVeigh” while discussing legitimate activist groups like the Ron Paul campaign, Oath Keepers, the Tea Party Movement, anti-Federal Reserve groups, etc? The purpose behind this is to condition average Americans to automatically interpret the terminology as being mutually related. To hear Oath Keeper, for instance, and think “Timothy McVeigh”.

This tactic of false association invariably leads to more generalized definitions of criminality, or terrorism, and then to more intrusive legal actions and legislation.
The Liberty Dollar case is now being used by the DOJ in an effort to set a precedent, which would make it easier for the government to prosecute any barter network utilizing gold and silver as competing currencies to the dollar. The message is clear; you are not allowed to change the system. You are not allowed to buck the system or criticize the system. You are not even allowed to walk away from the system. You will sit down, you will shut up, and you WILL participate, whether you like it or not.

This philosophy is typical of autocratic nations around the globe. The citizenry is denied the ability to actively have a say in their own government because the parties involved refuse to represent them, or even stoop to abusing them, then, they are denied the option to protest this lack of representation, and then, they are also denied the choice of opting out and walking away. A slightly more extreme example of this would be the Chinese propensity for hating the Tibetan people and wishing they would disappear, while also shooting Tibetan natives who take the hint and attempt to leave the country by hiking over the border. Thus, the people are not just an enemy to be silenced or run off, they are also property which must be fenced in and subjugated.

Potok condescendingly attacks the idea of the Federal Reserve ripping people off and controlling the money supply as “radical” (both accusations are true and have been well documented Ad Nauseum by numerous financial analysts from both sides of the political spectrum. I challenge Potok to debate me or any other alternative economist on this in depth). But the real kick is that Anne Tompkins and Mark Potok both connect the movement towards any barter and trade away from the Federal Reserve controlled construct as being an extremist endeavor which will supposedly wreak havoc on the mainstream economy. This casts millions of Americans into the role of domestic terrorist without them ever lifting a finger in anger or violence. Again, you are not allowed to have your own economy, or your own money. You have to play by the rules, their rules, and become a part of the team.

Being that I apparently seem to fit many of the DHS/SPLC selected characteristics of a homegrown terrorist, and most of the people I know, work with, and are friends with, do as well, I feel it is incumbent upon me to give you a personal peak into the everyday existence of such a “dangerous affront” to civilized society. For all you terrorism voyeurs out there, let’s delve into the deep dark recesses of the life and psyche of the average establishment nominated homegrown extremist…

7:00 AM: I wake up this morning and every morning with thoughts on how I may better expose the Federal Reserve and the fetid, morally bankrupt corporate bankers who constructed it. Drink orange juice. Change out of my Gadsden Flag pajamas and jump into the shower. Sing the lyrics to Jimi Hendrix’s ‘All Along The Watchtower’. Rinse. Repeat.

8:00 AM: I jot down my immediate thoughts for the next terroristic macroeconomic analysis article I plan to complete later in the day with my long horrifying trigger happy terrorist fingers on my terrorist built supercomputer. I also eat a blueberry muffin, probably heated to sumptuous perfection by bakers of the terrorist persuasion. As you know, we are everywhere. Booga booga…

9:00 AM: Go out for my five mile jog. Have to stay in tip top condition if Homeland Security plans to hunt me down for all those goods and silver I’ve been trading on the evil right wing extremist ultra maxi secret black market. Flea markets, farmers markets, garage sales, private exchanges of eggs and milk, all under the nose of the IRS! You name it, I sully the “pristine” nature of the Federal Reserve system with it.

10:00 AM: Arrive at my day job where I talk to fellow employees and even employers CONSTANTLY about the stagflationary threats to the U.S. economy, the inherent tyranny of the central banking philosophy, the complete idiocy of the Keynesian methodology, the risk of Treasury depreciation and the loss of the greenback’s world reserve currency status, along with the need for sound money initiatives, localized commerce, state sovereignty legislation, and personal defense. Somehow, they have not yet realized that I am a terrorist. Mark Potok needs to get his message out there more effectively…

6:00 PM: Arrive home from a hard day’s work. Make dinner devoid of artificial sweeteners, chemical preservatives, and high fructose corn syrup. For some reason, I care about my overall health and shudder at the prospect of feeding from the corporately produced slop trough, which only seems to slowly morph any unsuspecting human being into a 300 pound boil infested bottom feeding kankle troll with the logical and intuitive capacity of a sea monkey. Watch rerun of Three’s Company (Hey, that show is funny…)

7:00 PM: Sink into couch for some much needed rest.

7:15 PM: Get up off of couch and start my second job as a terrorist writer. We are indeed relentless.

11:00 PM: After spreading my vicious propaganda about how the leaderships of both major political parties support nearly the same exact legislation and only seem to disagree in rhetoric, or when the particular issue is ultimately unimportant to the progression of globalization, as well as the inevitable downfall of the American financial system facilitated by the deliberate creation of the derivatives crisis by the Federal Reserve and global banks like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, etc, I then have a shot of whiskey. Sometimes its depressing being a terrorist, and you have to take the edge off.

12:00 AM: I now answer many emails from other would be terrorists across the country who have been wiled by the undeniably rich and sexy allure of the lifestyle. Being labeled a terrorist is truly fun and exciting. Being constantly aware of the Godzilla-like rampage of international banks and the Fed across the ruins of our monetary system while half of the public is more concerned about what kind of Gordita they want from Taco Bell is immensely comforting. All the extra attention we receive from such highly placed individuals as Janet Napolitano makes us feel like celebrities. I imagine any group in history who has been singled out by government for their political and social views or their desire to fix the obvious inadequacies of their authority structure has felt the same way……fabulous.

1:00 AM: Time to sleep. Warm milk? Check. Air conditioning at optimum temperature? Check. Bed spread neatly folded for easy access? Check. Low playing mood music? Check. Loaded semi-automatic pistol under pillow? Check. (This is actually true in some cases, and you know what? I salute those people.) Commence operation Sheep Count. Try to supplant the concerns and the tensions of a world tomorrow that could be drastically different and even more frightening than the one we live in today. Worry that I should be sleeping less and working more to prepare others for what is coming. Hoping that my belief in the greater potential of mankind is not a waste, and that my efforts will yield something better for those generations that follow my own. Yes, I am an extremist, and a deviant. I will never stop pursuing the tidings of liberty, regardless of the cost. I am a madman. However, this makes me wonder, what does it mean to be deemed a madman in a society run by madmen? What does it mean to be judged a deviant in a nation dominated by deviants? Why is it that a so called “terrorist” in an atmosphere of dread and tyranny always seems to end up being but a man who only seeks to be free?

The new eugenics: Life in our vast chemical vats

The PPJ Gazette

Marti Oakley

Utilizing scientific technique in biology, only millionaires would be served real meat; everyone else would eat synthetic beefsteaks.  In the main, food would be manufactured in “vast chemical factories”.  [pp.167-169]  Bertrand Russell The Scientific Outlook (1931 ”

As far back as the late 1800’s, maybe even earlier, has been a concerted effort by collections of individuals who somehow view themselves as superior  to the general population to institute eugenics; a system of  controlled breeding of those they viewed as inferior.  The American Eugenics Society formed the blueprint for what was later used in Nazi Germany to systematically purge Europe of those they found undesirable based on race, intellectual capacity, infirmities, social rejections, physical traits and even age.  We’ve come a long way, baby.

Eugenics has been transformed, re-created, re-packaged and has a shiny new image signified by the systematic poisoning of the world’s populations through the use of chemicals, vaccines, lethal medications, chemtrails and efforts to genetically alter food to achieve a soft kill.  In order to make this selective genetic machine operate efficiently, global efforts are being implemented to collect the DNA of every human being on earth.  It is our DNA that must be altered, rendered inefficient and damaged, allowing the manipulation and exploitation coveted by the scientific industrialists.
“Utilizing scientific technique in biology, only millionaires would be served real meat; everyone else would eat synthetic beefsteaks.  In the main, food would be manufactured in “vast chemical factories”.  [pp.167-169]  Bertrand Russell The Scientific Outlook (1931
Is this not where we are now?  The food in our stores is irradiated, contaminated with gmo’s, loaded with chemicals, preservatives, dyes, residual pesticides, herbicides, residual vaccines, hormones, antibiotics and foods created from combining the genes of unrelated species and from cloning.  Our food supply, so infected with toxins of all kinds produced for no other reason than to manipulate ownership of the food supply for profit by bio-pirates, now presents a threat to the health of human beings and poses immediate danger to the environment.

We don’t know what we are eating and most likely if we saw the contents and processes used to create these frankenfoods, we would be horrified.  Processed foods, and I use the term “food” lightly, lining the shelves of our grocery stores have little actual food in them.  A reading of a simple label on a box will leave you dazed and confused. Chemicals, dyes, artificial sweeteners, artificial flavorings, preservatives and that little add-on….”other spices”.  Other spices is one, or a combination of, chemical(s), all intended to make the chemically and genetically altered mush that will eventually be reshaped by machine to resemble some food you might recognize, taste like it might really be “food”.

In 1952, Bertrand Russell penned his book The Impact of Science on Society where he speculated about the very probable goal of eugenics as performed by government when science was elevated to a level where it could engineer society.

“Diet, injections, and injunctions will combine, from a very early age, to produce the sort of character and the sort of beliefs that the authorities consider desirable, and any serious criticism of the powers that be will become psychologically impossible. Even if all are miserable, all will believe themselves happy, because the government will tell them they are so.” [pp 66]

One need only look at the growing list of mandated vaccines foisted on infants and toddlers, and the growing efforts to con the adult population into taking vaccines of one kind or another, many of which have never been proven safe or even effective to know that whatever is in these toxic concoctions is not necessarily good for you.  The efforts by pharmaceutical companies along with the CDC to marginalize or minimally report adverse reactions is in direct correlation to the rising number of individuals suffering from adverse reactions, sometimes even death from the vaccines.

Autism now strikes 1 in every 110 children.  Neurological disorders, learning disabilities, physical impairments and death can result from the use of forced vaccinations of infants and toddlers whose immune systems are not able to counter the massive injection of toxins contained in the chemical stews loaded into needles.  The general concept delivered to the public is, if a “few” children have to die or live permanently injured as a result of a vaccine, this is simply collateral damage; for the greater good, national security or some other jingoistic nonsense.

A very cavalier response as long as it isn’t their child who was injured or who died.  And who determines what number a “few” might be? In comparison to what?

Outbreaks of measles and other childhood diseases are treated as if the black plague had resurfaced.  Announcements of 50, or 100 children in an wide area with cases of measles seems to put the CDC and World Health (Homicide) Organization into a tailspin.  It is catastrophic! Terrible!  Frightening!  Yet both these organizations work in tandem to hide, or marginalize the hundreds of thousands of deaths and injuries from vaccines, and never issue world-wide alerts about how dangerous a vaccine may be.

Neither organization speaks one word about the fact that any infant, toddler or school-age child who has received a vaccine based on an attenuated (weakened) virus, will be shedding the virus for the next 21 days and spreading the virus everywhere they go.

Education or ignorance?

No Child Left Behind (NCLB) an education program titled to imply that all children would receive an education, is instead a systematic dumbing down of school children who are now being actively educated in globalism (the hive mentality) and who leave high school, if they make it that far, with what amounts to a fourth or fifth grade education comprised mostly of government approved information, most of which is quite useless.  As the movement to home schooling grows, so does the concern that these children, not exposed to the methodical nonsense in public schools, might pose a problem.  Generally far more advanced educationally than those in public schools, an effort had to be made to reframe the argument against home schooling.  Now we are hearing these children referred to as “strange, weird and creepy”.  It is apparent that these children, capable of critical and analytical thinking, who possess an education far beyond their public school counterparts, are to be viewed as ‘different”.  Not like us.  We need to be suspicious of them.

Eugenics has taken many major steps forward.  No longer do the eugenicists have to expose their distaste for those they view as inferior nor do they need to engage in denigrating and eradicating races other than their own.  Gone are the days of forced sterilization and the ending of entire family lines based on some criteria that includes possibly any one who isn’t them.  They just have to vaccinate us.  They just have to wait for us to sit down and eat.  And with each generation of overly vaccinated, chemically toxic children, as a result of their diets and the vaccines who are then intentionally uneducated, we watch the slow decline of the population.

Russell was almost prophetic in his assessment of the future of mankind at the hands of industrialized science.  For some reason the movie “Soylent Green” no longer seems quite so fictional or impossible.
